Research Papers: 1 (+2 are yet to get publised) , Internships: 3 (including one from IIM C)

i want to apply for the fellowship program in Bangalore and i want to know the best way forward
i understand that we have to first submit the application with GRE/GMAT/CAT scores.if your application gets selected then they will call for RAT.
i have the follwoing questions
1. will my CAT score be taken into account?if not then whats the ideal score a candidate should get in GRE for this.
2.How do i prepare for RAT
3. i want to study OD and HRM.Is there something specific in my profile which will help me with addmissions?

hi guys i need some advise ,want to do fpm from iim in hr and ob. have done mba, 4 yrs of work ex in teaching as well as have qualified JRF m also doing 3 online foreign university course in which i got distinction but i do not very strong academic background ( like 10 ,12 and graduation) so wat else i can do to make my profile strong enough to enter iim because m trying my level best past mistakes. thank yoou
Someone known to me got a call from MDI for fellow program and she also has a call from FMS for PHD.
Which one is better . Is there a difference in fellow and Phd. MDI fellow program is not recognized by AICTE
Hi, I am looking for admission into FPM at IIM A,B,C in 2015. I have a work-ex of 6 years in an Energy PSU, B.Tech from one of the IITs but CGPA is 7.13. I have no research paper published under my name. What kind of preparation should I follow so that i cud get into FPM. I am preparing for GMAT. What else should I do to make my profile more acceptable. Kindly Guide and help
I don't know if my query is appropriate for this forum but here goes.
I got into Msc finance from JBIMS. The course was started a year back and the first batch of 30 students will pass out next year. If I would have managed to get into a Bschool of my choice would have opted for finance stream. So considering this and the fact that being the only college offering this course Im confused as to should I take it or go for CAT2014. And also the fact that the course is quiet technical so is there a possibility that I will miss out on leadership roles in the future.

I am looking for FPM/PHD in Management from IITs in 2015. Can someone tell me what CAT score or GMAT score should I aim for the same. And I have a great work experience in terms of number of years and roles worked at, so can there be some relaxation on the scores for people with long service?
Any idea how is PHD program at IIT Kanpur rated in terms of scholars getting placed in other premiere B school in India?

hi! i have done my post graduation in psychology. i read in the iimcat website that there are phd programs available in psychology in some of the iims. how far will it be fit for me to apply for cat or xat? though my academic results are good i do not have any job experience. what is the cut off for phd in cat and xat?

I would like to know more about the kind of placements that happen for FPM students from IIM - A,B,C? Which academic institutions do they get placed in? Do academic institutions recruit FPM graduates through on-campus recruitment? Do any opportunities exist for the FPM graduates to land up roles in the corporate sector as well? Though I am more interested to get into academics. I shall be grateful if a couple of seniors can enlighten me on this as I am unable to find any concrete information on the institute's websites

Hi.. I wanted to apply for FPM in public policy and management from IIM A,B,C. For that I appeared for GRE and was hoping for 320+. Besides FPM, I was going to apply for MS also. But unfortunately things went so wrong that I would be getting 310 approx. which is hell low and disappointing score to apply anywhere. Can I apply for FPM without a GRE score? Would that be hampering my chances of selection? With this score and below profile any good university abroad for Materials? Below is my profile:

Hello everybody. I have done my B.Tech (EEE) from itm university, gurgaon with a cgpa of 7.84/10, XII- 85.2, X- 82.8. I dont have a work experienc, but I did 3 internship during my under-graduation. All the 3 were in Engg. I did assist my teacher on her DST funded project, but since this project was for her Ph.D, we couldn't really complete this project. This was the main reason I couldn't write any research papers. I had my GRE on 1stOct and scored a 319 (164Q/155V).
Please suggest me that is this profile enough to apply in an fpm program in any A rank institution??
Also, since I am an engg. graduate, how can I write a suitable SOP? I mean, I really don't know much about management field, so how could I justify my choice for fpm to the admission comittee?
