What is the process at IIM A? is it similar to IIMC .. 3 rounds or is it different?
Though it is mentioned that, direct admission after B.E is considered but one's profile needs to be great along with CAT(and other exam) score. I got 91.xx overall in CAT with 99.xx,74,63.xx in Verbal, Quant,DI respectively. Unfortunately didnt get call from A,B,C or L ( not suprised though). I have got calls from SCMHRD(Converted), calls- new IIMS,IIT-M(all for MBA). Should i go to any of the aforementioned colleges , do my MBA and then go for FPM or should I write CAT once again hoping to target a good CAT score. Currently I am working in a prominent Public Sector Bank Being in a bank it becomes very difficult to get a good percentile due to nature of work involved and timings, mostly need to come on weekends as well. This time i tried to manage both(studies+job) and the results are obvious. I am thinking to quit(if preparing for FPM next year) and join some coaching institute , thus helping in my prep. Will it be difficult to defend during interview of FPM my decision to quit ? Doing MBA now has additional cost which i cant afford as the fees range from 8 lacs to 16 lacs . So guys need your help to arrive at a logical conclusion.
