How to prepare for IIMC FPM interview? seniors please guide 🙏
Hi All Though I was expecting FPM calls from IIMC IIMK in Marketing but did not get. GRE score of 316. (Q-161 V-155). Work ex of 7 years in Marketing & Sales at managerial role. PGDM and BTech from decent colleges ( not IIT though). Clueless. Can you suggest possible reasons
Hello everyone As interviews are approaching, I need to know few things..after getting shortlisted is there any importance of test score?..and knowing only sop nd Research proposal would be sufficient or conceptual knowledge about that particular subject is needed, please share ur thoughts

ISB FPM Accounting Interview Experience:
Panelists: 3 professors (2 were accoutning professors I could identify from their website, 1 could not identify), 6 accounting candidates were called for interview, Finance panel had only 4 candidates !!
Duration: 20 minutes.
Q1. (No "tell me about yourself" question. Maybe because I already had three publications on my SOP). What do you think differentiates a top tier paper from an ordinary paper?
Q2. How would you formulate a strong hypothesis?
I answered by giving an example from a highly cited 1980 analytical paper. The professor who had 3 top tier papers from the same area as the 1980 paper asked me to explain the model on the whiteboard board and next 15 minutes were spent on Q/A session on that model only. Some questions from a recent regulatory event was asked with tangential link to the paper.)
Q3. Why ISB accounting? A personal question on my situation and how would I manage?(My wife is doing PhD in a different city in India)
Q4. If I knew about the research of one particular professor? (Younger accounting Professor, not the older one who was asking me most of the questions)

Keeping fingers crossed and waiting on IIM A and B calls (after IIM C did not).
