can u tell me how does cat count the work ex? does it count it from d date of joining to d date of resigning or do they count it till d notification/exam date?
also do they count it in months or years?????

I took Hindi as an optional subject in 10th class CBSE. That brought the total subjects to 6. But in order to calculate the aggregate percentage, I would exclude Hindi. Right?
everyone is unanimous about the fact we have to give the aggregate of all subjects whether its class X or XII ....may i know where is it mentioned ????
also, can i quote my family business as my job experience ???

It is mentioned that if your percentage is not mentioned on your marksheet or certificate then you have to give aggregate of all subjects......in ICSE/ISC marksheets percentages are not mentioned......so aggregate needs to be given......there are people who have given best4/best5 and are now in IIMs but in case the authorities do a verification and you get caught then you can be in deep deep trouble......
You can quote family business as job experience but you have to show them the payslips during the interviews......
Moral of the story......whatever you put down in the form......you need to have proper proof to support the information given......

Its not a directive from the board......the board does not support the notion of percentages......what you mentioned is common practice followed all over......but there is no official document to prove this......its just a practice that has been followed for years......
The reason it is followed because the passing criteria is English+3 subjects for ISC and English+4 subjects for ICSE......

It is better to check with other exams, you should keep 15 days gap between two exams so as to justify both the exams. Other things like difficulty of papers and all might not work as you don't know what the authority has decided.
One more thing is that, this year I am expecting more or less equal difficulty level for all the slots as opposed to last year where difficulty level was varying .
is dere a limit on number of times one can edit the slot??
though there is no restriction .. but after some time .. all slots will be booked and you might not be able to get a slot of your choice .. so i advise you to decide upon the dates as soon as possible ..
