I'm from WBUT (West Bengal University of Technology). Now what will be the answer of this question: "Type of University/Institution (Select the university that grants the degree certificate)"
This is from supreme court.I can assure u if you are giving it on the basis of B5/B4 ,u are doing no wrong. And the point made by nishant, that if iim authorties catch you,you will be in deep trouble. Not exactly true. After u clear your GD and others you will be verified as a person along with your marksheet and other other certificates. So no escaping here. You are always checked thoroughly. My senior colleague who was a passout from icse school also had this diffculty.Infact he passed out of IIM in year 2005 with this B4/B5 thing. If u include all, then also no problem but if u want to stay safe,u can also add all your seven. Not at all problematic. This point was raised by nishant in cl facebook site.My point was reiterated by their counsellor. And they have data to back this.So i think no issue.
The thing is that there are people advising both ways......another faculty of CL itself told me to give aggregate......
The link you have given is for Maharashtra specifically......for Maharashtra board best 5 policy is used by colleges for admission and aggreagate was used for ISC until this Supreme Court directive......
The thing is no one can say this with 100% guarantee......the best 5/best 4 is standard practice but there is no document from the board stating that this is how percentage should be calculated......the board just states the passing criteria......having said that there are people who have given best 5/best 4 and are now in IIMs......and there are also people who give aggregate and miss out on calls just by a whisker and maybe giving best 4/best 5 would have fetched that call......its just that giving aggregate is totally safe......I don't know of anyone who has been caught giving best 5/best 4 and hence no idea what might happen......I wouldn't say you will be in trouble......that was a mistake in my previous post......but you might be in trouble......and then again it maybe that the authorities too are fine with it......
yeah i did not get it as well... but then i went to that website opened my profile and then clicked send email... Then i received the admit cart ....
but i did not receive the other email they said they will send can someone confirm if that other email is important or not??
Ya....we can get the admit card by signing in (iim website) but as i said they should have sent 2 emails.....has anybody got the 2 emails automatically without requesting it from the account page?

I have received it...and even if you haven't received those yet, just wait for it...last year they told the same thing but I received the mails after 2 days of registration...so no point to worry

I have written in the homepage also.I'm writing it here again. Those who have made mistake in filing their name ( which is not editable ) need not worry.I had called them today and the customer executive told me if your first name is correct the it is ok.Also during exam i have to bring one id proof showing my correct name and the admit .
If u had faced any problem call them and use their webmail for a documentary proof. I'm still expecting their written expalanation. I hope i don't need to waste another 1600 on this.
regarding admission procedures : IIM a is not conducting the exam this time. It is C. The mail shuld have been sent to c. For my case specially my rating won't suffer a bit and also my percentage. A max of 0.5 and 0.25 % change.Still i will take the initiative head on to give b4/b5. I'm perfectly doing a legal thing.
Nishant it's okay . But the ruling was held in maharashtar court and then again upheld in SUPREME COURT .And if a process is done in maharashtra then everywhere it should be same.
anyways..this will go on endlessly. No more from my side. Everybody best of luck with prometric.
