hey people,
what all things do we need to do after registering for cat online?
is there any letter that we need to get stating that we're working in this company, or in my case
do we need a letter saying we're a student of 7th semester of so n so college?
also, apart from admit card and id proof what else is needed on the exam date?

no u don't need letter from ur college...
On CAT-Day...carry copy of admit card, id proof and caste certificate (if applicable)

Hi PagalGuys,

I am new to CAT and I am filling up the form for the first time. I have completed my graduation in BSc. (Computer Science) from Pune University. What am I suppose to choose for the Educational Qualification field while filling up the form. I am confused. Can any one of you please help me??

Hi puys i have a query...In 10th Class i had six subjects out of which 1 (Computers) was optional..Few of my classmates chose optional & few dint....If i include that optional subject marks (Marks are mentioned in Marksheet) then my % is 81.5 but if i exclude it then my % is 79.6...So can sum one please tell me that should i write 81.5 or 79.6 in CAT form... Please help me asap...thanks in advance.....

i have problem regarding my cat 2013 registration , i have not entered my details completely but an admit card was send to my email with default details and iam unable to log in using my username and password. please sir could i any know solution to my problem

Hi Puys, I passed by 10+2 under Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh. The final mark-sheet that is usually given contains the consolidated marks scored out of 1000 over the course of two years (11 and 12). So which is the score that we need to specify while registering for CAT 2013? Please help.

Indian national with Foreign Bachelors degree

Hi,

I'm an Indian national with a U.S Bachelors degree. I live in India now, and I want to apply to the IIMs for PGP 2015-2017.

I was looking at the CAT 2013 application form instructions and it seems it is mandatory to fill the name and location of the institution in the CAT application form. What must I select since my US college will not be listed?

Am I even eligible to take the CAT?

The IIM websites mention that one can take the CAT if one resides in India during the CAT testing period, but how would I get around filling the name and location of my college in the application form?

Please help me.

Hi,

I accidentally entered my name in place of my father's name and submitted the application form. I do not see an edit option. Please advise.

Whenever I proceed towards the last step of the application form it says - "Please enter the correct text as shown in the box". Inspite of repeatedly doing it multiple times I still get this message. What do I do? The last date is approaching and this is the ONLY step pending.
