Hi,

I would like you to give me an evaluation please.

I completed my B.Tech in EEE in July 2014.

I was offered jobs in Tech Companies, but had to turn them down because my father was struggling with our family business that is involved in packaging solutions. I joined the business in August and since then, we have built back a business that was once struggling, and today, I am currently the General Manager, and we have now grown over 10 times to what we were doing back in 2014. In the meantime, I have a passion in developing tech startups, and I am currently working on developing an app which will be live by the end of the year. Since, my time at the business, I have faced numerous situations, be it extra long hours, or dealing with uneducated labour force, or even changes in political system in the country. It hasn't been easy and I have overcome such situations only through hardwork and learning on the go. I will be writing GMAT later this year and I am expecting 700+, as my mock test scores come close to that. I want to apply for MBAs in Australia or Canada, places where I feel will be better for me to work (If i choose to), and later on settle in life. I also have a choice of getting back to my family business if things dont work out.I am iinterested in completing my MBA in International Business. So what are the career oppertunities in such countries, and what would be the best suited unis for me. I would also like to know what are my chances in getting admission in Melbourne Business School for their reputed MBA Program.

Thanks.

nit calicut..mnnit alld..nit surathkal..nit durgapur..iit dhanbaad...can anyone rank these colleges for mba program ??

Please evaluate my profile:

Class 10 - 88%
Class 12 - 78%

Finished my B.Tech in EEE from Amrita University, India - CGPA 6.4

After college, joined my family business to help my father who wanted my support. Family business is a textile packaging company.

4 years of work experience, working as a production assistant and then slowly gained ranks to be a general manager. Have helped my business in getting major certifications like ISO, Labour Compliance, Quality Compliance etc. We have now become a recognised ethical supplier, and have been nominated by several international retail clients to supply packaging for their factories. As of now, I am pretty confident my dad can handle the business along with my younger brother. In my spare time, I have also worked on multiple startup ideas, but they been in a standstill because of funding. I will put my spare time to work in them and develop them slowly on the side. I would like to pursue my MBA in Strategy, in order to work in a more professional environment that shapes major businesses.

I will be taking my gmat in June. I have been getting consistent scores of 740 in my mock tests.

My first preference for MBA is Melbourne Business School in Australia. I will also prefer applying for MBA in Canada or Europe.

I would like to know, with my profile, what would be my chances of acceptance in MBS? If low, what other colleges can I try to apply to in either Australia, Canada or Europe?
