my mistake 1/3*8 is inradius
For the circumradius its 2*8/3

bhai ,this ans seems to be wrong.. in isosceles triangle the altitude is always perpendicular to the base. and then 2/3*8 will be the circumradius na??
@viewpt even i thought the same , but in book its different. that is y little confused:(
Hi there. Someone please help me out with this question from pnc:

It's 2^5-1.
You can solve it by taking the cases of 1 bulb and 2 bulbs.:)

A team of miners planned to mine 1800 tons of ore during a certain number of days.Due to technical difficulties in one-third of the planned number of days,the team was able to achieve an output of 20 tons of ore less than the planned output.To make up for this,the team overachieved for the rest of the days by 20 tons.The end result was that the team completed the task one day ahead of time.How many tons of ore did the team initially plan to ore per day?

options
1.50 2.100 3.150 4.200 5.250

I am not getting this question.please help.
Also,I am having trouble solving all questions of LOD 3.Is it ok to leave out few LOD 3 questions?

(1800/d -20)d/3 +(1800/d + 20)(2d/3 -1)=1800
600-20d/3 +1200-1800/d +40d/3 -20=1800
20d/3 -1800/d=20
d/3 -90/d=1
d^2-270=3d
d^2-3d-270=0
d=3+33/2=18
1800/18=100

when will we start with Log and PndC ??

and i want to start again with probability!!!

@ShipraP let number of planned days be x
work per day be w

wx=1800

(w-20)x/3+(w+20)2x/3=1800+w+20

20x=3w+60

36000=3w^2+60w

on solving,

w=-120 or w=100

as work done is positive,
w=100 tonnes

No donot leave any question...... complete one book but complete it thoroughly.
@starknainan09 Its random if u have ur questions post them here or in the official quant thread. But donot post the same question on both the threads 😃
