Queries Related To SIMS, Pune

Hi
my SNAP score is 27.75 and already applied to SIMS pune through Open defence category(as applicable to me). My details are
SSC 81%
HSC 89%
BE (E&TC;) 70%
working for L&T; Infotech Bangalore as Oracle Functional consultant
Exp 1.5+

is there any chance to get a call from SIMS?

Sorry but at this score it seems quite difficult :sad:.

And, I am not from defence category... I am from general.. And that means I am not eligible.... Am I right??? And whats defence open.. Can I apply through this.?? How many seats for this category

SIMS has only defence category and industry sponsored category. So if you are not from any of above two categories, than you are not eligible.

but lucky2grt said that if I am from defence category, I should quickly apply for this, but if it is not online, then how can I fill it 2day, which is the last date.

There is no sectional cut-off in SIMS. And sorry you cannot fill the form online.

SIMS has extended its last date to 13th January. But if you are not from defence category or industry sponsored category than you are not eligible my friend.

The expected cut-off for SIMS is around 45 marks.

I am a final year student doing BCA.I have completed my 10th and 12th with 65% and 70% respectively.I have secured 36.5 marks in SNAP and have applied under open defence category in SIMS.Please tell me what are my chances of getting a call from them.I have cleared the sectional cut-off in SNAP as given by TIME.

You have chances to get the call. And the image will be more clearer in a week on 19th january.

Sorry but at this score it appears bit difficult :sad:. But due to fall in scores of many students in Snap than expected, cant predict surely. Hope for the best.

15 months work ex in Software company...
gud co-curricular achievements...won lots of prizes....
open defence category....
can u please let me know wat are my chances...????

My SNAP Score is 54.25 (eng-17.75,QA -14.25,Gen AW-6.75,A&LR-15.50;)
i am ssc officer .
do i have any chance of call in defence open cat.

It's not the question of eligibility which i am asking.

Yes you have a good chance to get a call from SIMS at this score.

my academic record ws pretty gud during school n grad....

is dis gud enough to gt a call frm SIMS....
