i can see a lot of you people are online but no body is posting...hey by the way how many people do they have in each gd batch....and how many batches in a day....hmmmm..and what would be the total number of candidates they might be calling now the cutoff is around 55 so almost everyone who filled up sims will be getting a call now an educated guesss...6 days...........2000 students...heyyyyyy this is stupid of me to ask 
...what is there intake...............i dont have a prospectus so no info about fees/last date for fees/intake /weightages if any..and hey do the snap score have a weightage in the final merit list...seniors please help on this point as sibm had earlier mention in there booklet that 150 marks for snap score and now it says on the site that 150 mark weightage has been scrapped and only 150 of gd/pi/essay/presentation wud be used...A BIG LOSSSS TO ME.....not saying that me not confident about my gd/pi skills but having a snap score do have an advantage i suppose atleast it does not hurt you:)

sorry wasn't able to post earlier.....had gone out last nite and just saw my result......
btw congrats to everone who made it thru to the next stage.....and for those who didn't don't worry.....something better must be in store for you.........
I made it through btw......i had a snap score of 71....not a gr8 one but was confident that it will be enough to reach the next stage..........
so now that we know that most of us are through lets get to some serious preperation and lets nail this personality assesment round.........
as for how many people in a Gd group.....last year we had 10 per group......
and hey i have a frnd who got a call with 59...so the cut off can't possibly be 70.......i still think it was somewhere around 55..........
and pls if someone could throw a lil light on the number of calls sent and the selection ratio for SIMS......would really be helpful......
so as of today lets party and get back to work from tomorrow.......

when i checked the GD/PI list yesterday the dates for various centers were for Feb2005!!
so, today i guess the SIMS people realised that they had posted last years' dates and now...
the dates have been revised to new Feb2006 dates...
check out their site guys to see the dates again..!!
and...diksha were u able to get ur result finally??

My score i've mentioned in one of my previous posts, well don't exactly wan't to repeat it but still its 56.50. Considering the sky high scores some of you have got, i'm reconsidering my chances big time. Well those with 80 and above should really try hard for Scmhrd and sibm among others. They will, i guess be better suited for such top of the line b-schools, not to say SIMS is any less. But i guess i got a call mainly so that they will have someone to reject. But will not repeat not go down that easy, the test is over and now its all about personality and having the real time qualities that make a manager, my academic record is not exactly dazzling but am ready to take on the role of the underdog, so all you topdogs better be ready, cuz always remember the rabbit and the tortoise.Anywayz best of luck to everybody for the GD and PI.

Hey thanks a lot Sonal.....i was rather suprised myself for seeing the dates originally there.....cz the prospectus said that the gd/pi will be conducted between the 3rd and the 12th......and plus it originally said that we had to put the choice of centre before the 24th.........had it not been for ur info i could have jolly well missed the date.....thnks a lot again........
oh btw as you said that we shld exchange our nos well mine is 9891049937......any help anyone needs is most welcome to call up.......

And Mr Philad..:satisfie: Man its a basic desire of every human being to want best in life.Even I am making a best efforts for some of the big leagues including SCMHRD and JBIMS, and for me SIMS is an fall back option.
Guys with low scores let me tell u MBA is not about a degree as such ,but its all about having a right "ATTITUDE". So guys just b positive and always think that u r better than the best. Because I know couple of people who have made it to IIMS and other top ten B schools.They were just average students.
One of my frends who has made it to IIML got just 52% at his graduation.
So relax ,chill and give u r best shot...........
As far as GDs r concerned nobody cares for how much u speak ,but wat u speak. So try to b convincing but not forceful.
I hope that all of us get through these rounds and we can have rocking time at SIMS for next 2 yrs..
