so have you approached any BANKS and did they tell ya that 15 days is too short a period for them to react? well me just asking as I am in the same kinda predicament. Bharath

roger that...try out the websites of SBI , BOB, Canara, Syndicate, UCO and Andhra Bank.....( not advertising,just the ones I know)...i guess nowadays due to the stiff competition from private players even the nationalized Banks have become really customer friendly. Well me too planning to pay these guys a visit, will keep you posted. Later Bharath

I believe banks are providing a low interst rate only in cases where they have tie-ups with the institute. SIMS hasn't yet intimated of any such tie-ups...neither in call letter nor in its fees section.
With the budget today, rates r only expected 2 go up :(
Cud any1 find a rate of 9-10%? Pitch in ppl if u happen to find any...infact when u enquire at a bank u can assure em of many more prospective SIMS students as customers! :D

I called up SIMS today regarding the bank thingi. They clearly said that they do not have any tie-up with any bank. Secondly we'll be receiving the letters within the next 3-4 days

well the local SBI person told me once the application is submitted it generally takes AT THE MAX 10 days................so start palnning mates.
