Hi guys.

I would like to know the difficulty level of Prelims Paper for the post of Assistant Legislative/Protocol/Executive Officer. I've gone through the previous posts and found a Previous Paper of 2013. I attempted the GI part and found it to be quite ok for me. The paper being 4 years old, I assume the difficulty and complications would have increased. 

I really want to prepare well for this exam and have started preparing at IBPS PO Level. Would that suffice? I, being weak in the GK/Current Affairs section, am worried about clearing even the prelims.

I understand that my post is way too lengthy. But, pls, I would like to get a detailed idea from those who have cleared the Prelims. 

Also, would like to know the book that I should refer for Mains English.

P.S. - I'm average in GI & Maths. OK-OK in CA. Very weak in GK.

I read somewhere that according to schedule,Rajya Sabha was supposed to declare the final result by April 2017, then y r dey so late :O !

Only 250 (ur)students were selected for prelims and mains This year post are less so 120 are going to be selected ?

Just called recruitment cell, a lady said that result is in progress and recruitments are not cancelled.. So no need to worry about cancellation.. keep checking the site..

I'm still unable to comprehend on the topics I should focus on in General Awareness (Assistant Legislative Post). I'm weak in GA/GK. And that's exactly the reason for my confusion. I'm preparing for Polity as suggested by a few members here. Downloaded NCERT Polity texts of STD 11 & 12. Also ordered Indian Polity by Laxmikanth. Are majority of the questions from Current Affairs? Should I give importance for that? What about History, Geography, Economics and Science? These topics are very tough for me, except for Economics (which is OK with me). I can't mug up things. 😞😞
