Guys @DasShaktikanta is the twitter handle of the new rbi governor plz tag him and tell him about the delay....last governor was not on twitter so this is our chance to make our voice heard...also do tell him about how ravish has covered the story of the case twice already on his show...that might make him look into the matter seriously.
RBI is facing huge staff shortage now. Most of the assistants (till 2014 batch) have been promoted to Gr A, which leaves RBI with only two batches of assistants(2015 & 2016). Many of the newly promoted assistants to Gr A from all of india's ROs (of 2014 batch) are being posted in Central office (this was a rare phenomenon till now) due to shortage of assistants at CO. Till now the number of outgoing newly promoted Gr As were equal to the number of incoming Gr As in an RO, but this time the number of incoming GrAs have been reduced to approximately half (compared to number of outgoing GrAs), which is causing staff shortage at ROs too. It can be extrapolated from the above that RBI has to push for early resolution of the ongoing case and/or begin assistant recruitment asap.
It would be a sensible decision by RBI to absorb as much assistants as possible from the 2017 batch irrespective of the vacancies by making a panel. This would give justice to a large number of candidates who have waited for nearly a year.
