Hi all, First of all, my heartful thanks to those people who've created this forum and provided us all with this opportunity to interact with the fellow aspirants of this exam.
Throughout the exam processes, no matter whatever exam it may be, the line that demarcates the one who's successful and the one who's not is "Hardwork coupled with the right strategy". Only when these two things work together correctly, the fruits of success could be tasted. There're many aspirants who're really very hardworking, but they failed to succeed. I'm one such aspirant. But all these failures have taught me a lesson everytime and these lessons keep on reshaping my strategies every time.
From the year 2014, it could be seen that the level of difficulty in the IBPS conducted exams has been increasing, which could be inferred from the decrease in the cut-offs from the previous year. Thus one should not get disappointed in the middle of the exam, by his pace of answering, because the questions are actually difficult.
Having said the above things, I'd like the fellow aspirants to share their strategies which they've found as working. To begin with I'm going to share my way of answering the questions.
Section Time
Quantitative First 30 mins
GK/Computer Next 15 mins
GK/Computer Next 15 mins
English Next 25 mins
Reasoning Next 30 mins
The remaining 5 mins can be either used for Quantitative/Reasoning. Earlier i used to attempt reasoning first. I missed RBI Grade B by 1 in the sectional cut off in Quantitative. Hence revised my strategy to the one above. I hope it'll work for the assistants exam as well.
Hardwork coupled with the right strategy will definitely work some day or the other. I wish everyone of this forum success in their exam.
A kind word to all dear aspirants :
Please don't concentrate on stuff such as last year cut-offs, types of questions asked, etc. Last two editions were altogether different from each other - w.r.t. cut-off, difficulty level, etc.
So, please practice the basics right and appear for exam, because you can expect anything from the easiest to the most difficult in the exam !!!!!
