done with my interview

met some nice ppl of pagal guy

anyways heres my exp

I was 2nd on the list mine started around 10:20

sardarji-so u like to watch cricket did saw yesterday's game?

den asked me abt the reason behind lack of good players from odisha

asked me about some scholarships mentioned in my bio data enquired a bit about that

than the 2nd member he asked me whether I have appeared any other interview or not than asked me that whether I read and follow economic happenings or not

than started with economics lods of economics questions

monetary policy to greexit , swiss franc , twin deficit , functions of rbi , a bit on jan dhan yojona , than how rbi controls the credit and one on sidbi as mentioned about my sidbi interview appearance than on rbi rate cut than on slr rates etc...

one question on 3g vs 4g than another one related to my profile that is why less % in 12th

than asked whts ur strength

overally it was a good experience there were some stressful moments in the interview

sardarji interrupted time and again during my answers esp on the fiscal deficit question thank god no questions from grad it was mainly based on economics and issues related to it in btw there were some relaxed conversation like did u watch movies etc....

funny thing is when they asked me abt other exams upsc never came out from me just a spontaneous response about sidbi also nothing on rbi etc...

members were very cooperative

very much revolved around eco topics I missed some esp when they asked me abt some imp events in indian economy in recent tyms I forgot to mention abt oil price down , gdp change and few more things etc...but again its all abt that moment its how we perform in that period

it lasted for 25mins I thought it went okk and it was bit of stress interview rest on rbi how it evaluates me 😃

Finally interview over. My profile is Btech, Infy, UPSC. so here goes the exp:

Sardarji: What do you aspire from life. Money, status, respect...

Me: Satisfaction...

and then long discussion on what is satisfaction and how I was not satisfied at Infy and how I will be satisfied at RBI...M2 intervened to stop the discussion

M2: should govt go for fiscal consolidation or not? seeing the current scenario

Me: explained as discussed here on pagalguy with awesome puys..

Then sardarji interrupts and asks should government increase spending or increase tax...which will cause more inflation(as I had mentioned straying away from Fiscal consolidation will cause inflation)?

Me: (without thinking much) goverment spending more than what it earns will cause more inflation..

Sardarji: which will be demand based and which supply based...

then I explained and got the idea that both things can cause inflation

Sardarji: then what will you choose?

Me:(confused) mix of both

M2 M3 start laughing saying very good (don't know what they were upto)

M3: What is FRBM act?

Me: explained

sardraji: What is the savings rate in India?

Me: Don't know the exact figure..

Madam: What is CSR? tell how infy does it

Me: explained

Sardarji: yesterday it was in news that infy funds AAP in name of CSR..is it allowed

Me: did not read that news but that is certainly not allowed under the new companies act

Sardarji: are the allowed CSR activities mentioned in the companies act?

Me: I don't know

M5: asked technical questions from workplace like SDLC and its stages

Me: partially correct answers with differing views on resource allocation in different phases...

Interview lasted for 10-15 mins I think.. I was satisfied with my interview... I hope they are satisfied enough to write my name in final list..

can one get posting of choice in rbi???

As the interviews get over tomorrow, the time of wait & horror shall begin. Devoid of any clarity & information on results, the best thing would be to go into neglect that one has taken an exam the result of which is impending. I have deliberately planned a short vacation to Manali followed by India-SA cricket match. But, I know, I will feel the emptiness & horror once again on the 23rd. Switching places - sofa, chair, bed, one TV channel after another, stupid nonsensical movies will take place of once the most productive time. Welcome to the "wait game" !!
