Look at the footnotes of any diagram/chart/table in the Economic Survey. If it mentions that the source of data is RBI/World Bank/IMF then it is invariably important for you to study that from the perspective of prelims, mains and interview as well.
Moreover the first chapter "Economic Outlook, Prospects, and Policy Challenges" is must read to get an overall feel of the book.
