not a single question from socio economic background... all those bank terminology never to be used by rbi officer were asked... no question from international issues or any steps by goi on socio economic agendas...as a whole disappointed!!!!

hello frns m not new to this forum...bt yes new to this thread....
RBI paper analysis:
paper was easy but yes sections were time consuming especially the reasoning part..
since mode has been changed to online so its very difficult to do some resoning q that were easy doin when paper was offline..
my attempts:
maths- 27 all correct
reasoning : 35 correct
english: 30 ...1 or 2 q may be wrong
ga: 51...till nw remembered around 36 q...out of them 32 correct and four wrong..unable to recall other q.
regarding cutoff: i must say...yes it will rise...but after seeing posts i can tell you that some are getting unrealistic over cutoffs....may be it will go max 115...bt wat i believe is that it should stay at around 110.
last year sbi cut off was 114...2 days back marks of sbi po were out and cutoff for gen cat was 151...so u can see the sharp rise but since sbi po paper pattern was alltogether changed this time.i.e easy paper this time so cut off s were high.... but its not the case with rbi...the paper was alltogether similar compared to the rbi 2011

Friends, Indians. Countrymen.. Lend me your ears. I went through 2011 paper and carried out a comparative analysis between questions asked in 2013 and the former.. Here is how it goes:
1. General Awareness:
#2011: 50 percent easy, 50 percent difficult. More on Indian economy, less on banking. Average financial awareness would score about 30-40 out of 80
#2013: 40 percent easy, 60 percent difficult. More questions on banking. Some questions made technically heavy to test understanding. Average financial awareness will struggle to reach 30.
Effect on cutoff: Likely to go down or remain at the same values

2. Reasoning: Very much the same. Effect on cutoff: Likely to remain around the same or rise a bit due to online nature of examination

3. Quant: Very much the same.
Effect on cutoff: Likely to rise a bit due to online nature of exam which saves time for quant (10)
4. English: Pretty much the same level.
Effect on cutoff: Remain same or rise a bit

The drivers of cutoff figures this time, are (i) Online conduction of examination (ii) Scrapping of sectional time limits (iii) More no of applicants that pushes the notch up due to competition (iii) Difficulty level of GA which will result in lower aggregate scores. I am no expert, but this is my projected cutoff.

Overall- ok-ok!!!
GA - It was somewhat easy thn all the other papers!!!
Quants - Easy (Good accuracy n u r gone through)
Verbal - Ver very easy (This sections difficulty level is same for all the papers)
Reasiong - ok-ok (Time consuming)
My advice - Do not look out for number of attempts stick with accuracy!!!
Attemps - 130 Only!!! (I thought of sticking only with accuracy....bhand mai jaye 140-150-170 attemps...Evn in this agar wrong hoge toh bohot kam wrong hoge)
Isme se agar 16 bhi wrong hue toh bhi i'll sail through!!!
If cutt-offs r less i.e same as last year thn i m thorugh.........If cut-offs are more......realax...stay cool...IBPS PO!!!

25 aug..(9:15)GK was quite difficult....
reasoning was easy except a few questions...
quantz mein di was so simple ..baki questions were easy bt calculation was time consuming..😐.
n english toh I completed in 15 minutes...😁
