RTI FILLED - RBIND/R/2018/54295 Dear Sir Madam I appeared in RBI GRADE B GENERAL OFFICER exam held on 16 Aug 2018 1st shift I attempted 118 questions and was confident for the result but due to unequal difficulty level in different shifts, repeated questions in Kerala exam, cutoff have gone high and most of the candidates appeared in 1st shift are disappointed with the result. We believe normalisation is not done appropriately. Kindly review and also answer below mentioned questions- 1 Number of candidates selected in Mains exam from 1st shift of 16 Aug 2018 2 Number of candidates selected in Mains exam from 2nd shift of 16 Aug 2018 3 Number of candidates selected in Mains exam from 02 Sept 2018 4 Number of repeated GA questions from 16 Aug 2018 in exam held on 02 Sept 2018 5 Which Normalisation method adopted 6 My Marks in Preliminary Exam sectional wise as well as overall 7 cutoff sectional wise and overall for preliminary exam. 8 Difficulty level was same for each exam or not. My details SAHIL JAIN Roll no. 1611000370 Registration No. 445386 Mobile 8287073455
Advice to people filing RTI:
1. The amount of information you are seeking in every question is quite a lot. Break your RTI into two, or maybe three RTI’s. Your chance of getting a reply faster will increase substantially. After all an RTI costs just Rs. 10.
2. Just write in the beginning that these questions pertain to RBI Grade B examination conducted by RBISB so that there is no ambiguity in each question. A lot of questions look like that you want them to assume that you are talking about RBI Grade B exam. Remember every question is a new question.
3. Make questions more specific. For example, instead of different categories write Gen, SC, ST, OBC. Instead of different shifts write morning and afternoon shifts. Instead of different sections write General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English, Reasoning.
4. If you are seeking attested copies, pay lump sum money at this stage only. Else they will ask you for money and then furnish documents. The process will be delayed.
May the force be with you. And do share the information in this forum whenever you get it.
Mehnat kro, RTI , case, etc se kuch nai hota. Jin 2500 bacho ka hua h , unki kya alag sifarish thi koi ? It all depends on hard work and rest is destiny.
People prepare for CSE for numerous years yet when they get rejected they never put the blame on UPSC itself. Apna time mat kharab karo. Prepare for other upcoming exams. One day u will succeed if not this time.
The efforts u have put will always be there with u. It is life. It will go like this only. I myself have faced many failures in all kinds of exams.
Jab 2 jane ladenge toh ek hi jeetega, One has to lose. It is as simple as that.
It is sad to see how this group has turned from interactive happy study or non study chats to a marketplace where suddenly people are selling their phase 2 test series...I know the cut off is really high, probably the highest in rbi grade b phase1 history and many of us including me expected to make the cut, but unfortunately we got to accept the bitter truth...so guys and girls just buck up, it happens...
I am with the guys filing RTI. I attempted 133 questions with 74 in GA, 21 in reasoning, 14 in quant and 24 in English. After checking the answers of GA, I was getting 61. And in quant and reasoning, I am sure of attempting them with 100% accuracy.
Still I am out.
There is some flaw with the system. I think there are loopholes.
Guys please file RTI as well as PIL and ask them for conducting phase I again in single shift. Even if financial support is required I am willing to give generously.
This is is completely outrageous.
To those filing rti.. before ur reply of rti rbi will declare marks.. rti reply will come after 25 days .. it is normal response time of rbi.. i know it from my own experience with the rbi
Guys confused here after reading posts.... Result declare hua kya???
Ye study material bechne Wale dukandaro ki koi alag market lagao re...
If RTI reveals that 'normalisation' is not applied across shifts then this is sheer case of unfair conduct from RBI and amounts to court intervention . But I doubt RBI would do such a blunder despite presence of talented statisticians with them.
Cutoff is definitely beyond 100 for both UR / OBC .. 1st shift candidates those who scored #less than 45 in GA and expect to get in are really disappointed.. According to 1st shift 40-45 of GA is good score.. In 1st shift 45 GA + 30(in both eng and Quant) =75 only Finally 35+ is necessary in Reasoning with 100% accuracy for at least to touch cutoff.. Totally Unjustified. I condomened RBI for playboy recruitment process.
To all dumbos who are talking about filling cases and RTIs, You're thinking of filling RTIs, even filling cases against an institute you want to work for. Have some sanity. Have balls to accept your mistakes in the exam. Merely attempting 130-150 questions doesn't guarantee your spot. Stop thinking yourself as center of the universe. Think about the people who have cleared this phase. They are same as you so don't mess up their preparations. It is hard to accept defeat but it is part of life. So stop being crying babies and move on.
Jab Tak rti ka reply aayega phase 2 ho Chuka hoga.to kaise rokenge is exam ko
Someone please share the link for result
Ab to cut off aur marksheet se hi mamla clear hoga k kaha Kami reh gayi.....uspe workout kar k next time fir se denge.... Baki sab faltu baatein hain
Guys cutoff kya tha???

बुरा जो देखन मैं चला, बुरा न मिलिया कोई। जो मन खोजा अपना, तो मुझसे बुरा न कोई।।
No still I can't acceptable, at least RBI HR should hear our pain of hard work. Bcoz its not easy to cover whole part of GA from Jan to July even though prepared can't get good score by 1st shift candidates (common to everyone) unlike one can score 65+ in 2nd shift.. I know my pain how I pledged for it and you too.. How could take this issue easily.. Have to do something
Those who are thinking of rti and pil, I have only one thing to tell you. The whole written exam is outsourced to IBPS. There is not role of rbi in question paper, normalisation etc. Rbi only gets the roll no. and matks of candidates according to the criteria given to IBPS. If you think IBPS is biased in other exams then it was biased in it also. And this I am saying from the RTI reply of RBI last year.
