WTF they gave me 25 in GA while I had already cross checked from 2-3 sources and was getting 30+ ... In maths they gave me 10 marks I attempted 20 and my accuracy is always 100% in maths and reasoning 😢
I don't know what normalisation method is adopted but it is really disheartening to see the score card.
I attempted 74 in GA, checked answers and was expecting 61 but got 44.25
I attempted 21 in reasoning, with 100 % accuracy and got exactly 21.
I attempted 14 in quant, with 100 % accuracy, got only 7.25
I attempted 24 in English, well got 19.75
I checked GA answers from muliple sources. I still dont know if normalisation can reduce 17 marks straightaway. And in quant, I am still thinking what would have possibly gone wrong and where. I am still not able to comprehend what sort of normalisation is done. If anyone knows, please enlighten us.
The most casualties in these asymmetrical papers and so forth the duckworth lewis system were those who heavily depended on the General awareness section specially the senior players. Easier Reasoning and quantitative section added on to it. SBI PO just before the paper did not help at all.
In Slot 2, they have scaled down the GA upto 10 marks but what has made more difference is the scaling down of quant section which is proportionately more significant than the GA section and led many to below sectional cut offs. No body discussed that quant of slot 2 was easier than slot 1. Reasoning section of the slot 2 got an upscale.
It seems overall the ones in slot 2 were more at disadvantage also in terms of expectation.

The normalization is ridiculous, the people in shift 1 have been benefitted a lot, the marks of 2nd shift people have been dragged down by 15 marks...that is why many didn't clear from phase 2....in a time bound exam, this skewed normalisation is not valid...this has never happened before in rbi exams

Just a random observation that I got 101 and missed by 5 marks. But just think after so much normalization and scaling down of marks the cutoff is still 105.75. What would have been the cutoff if no normalization?? I think 120 it would have been and @Bankambition would have been true 😄
