Hey guys.... So finally it is time to substantiate the last few days' learning. No doubt that the excitement is accompanied by some butterflies-in-the-stomach anxiety but what the heck, lets do it. RBI caps Ways and Means Advances limit for govt. at Rs. 35000 crore per week for the first half of F.Y. 2015. RBI acts as a banker to all states except J&K and Sikkim. The advances are to meet any mismatch between payments and receipts of the govt. and not a means of finance but only a cushion to the state govt................
India became a permanent signatory to the Washington Accord. The Accord was signed by National Board of
Accreditation at a meet of International Engineering Alliance of WA member countries held in Wellington,
New Zealand.
Washington Accord is an international agreement between prominent nations of the world and is a charter that
promotes mobility and quality assurance of engineers across international boundaries.
