22nd afternoon slot. so there are 4 slots in total. Here goes scaling right out of the window. 😃

For Afternoon Slot folks when will the paper begin ?? The time on my admit card is 1:15 Pm. It says reach 30 min. before the time (or 12:45). What is the time mentioned on the admit card for morning slot folks ?? The correct knowledge will help people plan their travel.

Candidates here who are taking oliveboard or other test series online, can u tell us what type of GA questions they are setting in their mock papers?is it current affair based?or other things are also being covered like static history, geo etc?last year RBI ga was wholly current affair based, hence I am asking.

This is for those of u who are panicking on what to read for RBI GA 😃  no need to worry here is the list of topics by bankrs adda for phase 1 .I am not saying bankrs adda will surely match RBI,but generally they do get it correct, atleast last year in RBI they did. Here are the topics they have mentioned.    :

1) Banking and Finance:

  • All the banking related terms
  • Banking History
  • Functions of Banks
  • Role Of RBI in the economy
  • Monetary policy of RBI
  • Banking related news
  • Name of banking related Committees and their focus areas
  • Basel Norms
  • Types of money
  • Money Market
  • Capital Market
  • Public Finance
  • National income concepts like GDP,etc
  • Inflation Concepts
  • Economic Planning
  • Go through basic economic terms and concepts.
  • Also refer to RBI website, in the website there is a tab by the name "publications", go through  those articles and if at all you do not understand any term then use Google for the same .

2) Current Affairs-
3) People in News

4) Awards

5) Authors and their Books

6) Government and its initiatives

7) Economy related news

8) Places

9) Sports

10) Science and technology

11) National International News, etc

For points 2 to 11 above U can just read the capsules of bankrs adda.My prev year experience is that point 1 given by bankrs adda covering banking and finance might not be reqd for phase 1,as questions last year were 100% simple current affairs like ibps exams, but u cant leave anything to chance.Hence I would suggest that u prepare the topics of banking &finance from chapters 1,5,7,11,12,and 18 of Ramesh Singh 7th ed.   All the best

A Contractor employed a certain number of workers  to finish constructing a road in a certain scheduled time. Sometime later, when a part of work had been completed, he realised that the work would get delayed by three-fourth of the  scheduled time, so he at once doubled the no of workers and thus he managed to finish the road on the scheduled time. How much work he had been completed, before increasing the number of workers?

In what ratio applicants will be called for mains? RBI should increase the ratio now when the mains exam is objective type. 😛

guys anyone here have test scheduled on 22nd??

i have iift too on that date..can the test be rescheduled?

Anyone else having exam at 1:15 in dronacharya college, Gurgaon?

A very funny thing happened last time in RBI. There were 58 UR and 36 OBC vacancies but in the fanal list there were 58 OBC candidates and 36 UR candidates and for the other categories there was no change. I am sure Phase 2 going Online is a result of that incident and I am sure this time you won't see such a huge migration. Though a few OBC candidates will definitely make it to the UR list.

A train can travel  50 % faster than a car. Both start from the same point A at the same time and reach at point B 75 kms away from A at the same time. On the way however the train lost about 12.5 minutes due to stoppages. Find the speed of the car.

Fairing really badly in Oliveboard mocks....QA and specially Reasoning certain ans are really incomprehensible.....don't know what will happen if this going to be the standard in the real time test........Best of luck to all of us .
