Austerity measures to tide over recession
The global recession has resulted in reduction in business and hence profit. The measures are taken to tide over the recession. The measures for tiding over recession are specified henceforth
2. It is hereby brought to notice that the additional stationaries will be rationed and no allowance will be given vis-à-vis new stationary without the approver of supervisor.
3. No new recruitment will be made till further notified to reduce the cost. Henceforth, the work will have to be managed within existing employees.
4. As a measure to overcome the work overload in absence of new recruitment, the timings in employees work schedule are increased by half hour.
5. Additional allowances for team events and team lunch and dinner has been reduced and only a single event would be allow in each fiscal year. Lunch and dinner meetings have been stopped henceforth.
6. Travel holidays for the employee sponsored by bank has been stopped till further notice.
7. Work related travel class has been changed, for air travel the business class has been removed as an option and only economy class is allowed to be booked. For Railways, reimbursement would be given only for 3rd AC travel.

I have written a Draft proposal also, please review it. I am a bit Sceptic about the format. Can anybody confirm whether it is correct format?
Question: On behalf of the employees of your bank, draft a
representation to the management asking for improvements in infrastructure for
better work performance.
Draft for improvement of infrastructure for better work performance
1. Objective:
· Improve the infrastructure of the bank
· Reduce the time taken for mundane non-bank related work
2. Scope:
· Making the bank premises friendly for differentially abled employee
· Improvement of parking facilities in bank
· Improvement of canteen facilities in bank
· Improvement of temperature controls in bank branches
· Provision of Vending machines
3. Definition:
· The infrastructure includes parking facilities, some recreation facilities, basic eateries, vending machines and also differentially abled friendly infrastructure for employees and customer.
4. Goal:
· The goal is to provide incentives to the employees so that they can work efficiently and improve performance of themselves and overall performance of bank
5. Way forward:
The draft proposal detailed in the section, have been prepared after due consultation with the employees, feedback from customers and vendors who provide infrastructure and services in the bank. Following are the proposal:
· Improve accessibility for differentially-abled employees: At present it is difficult for some employees even to access basic facilities like washroom. It would be beneficial for them, if differentially abled washrooms are provided in the infrastructure. Also ramps are required to access the bank branch itself. It would cost around 2.5 lakh as discussed with the vendors to implement such facilities.
· Improve the parking facilities for the employee. It is a daily hassle for employee to park their vehicles in the building. Additional parking for the employee will reduce the morning hassle for the employee
· Improving look and feel of the premises: It will create a healthy atmosphere and improve performance of the workforce.
· Improvement of canteen facilities: Employees wouldn't have to go outside for normal tea and snacks. They could be provided in-house by outsourcing it to vendor.
· Vending machines: To provide employees instant snacks and tea/coffee. This services are provided by vendors and cost less, no additional person is required to look over it.
6. Other issues:
The changes in the infrastructure will require additional space, it may result in changes in the banks location, if space is not available in current location
