RBI Grade-B Officer 2015-16 , Phase-I & II

Please agar kisine 7th k paper me puche hue questions ki list banai ho to share karo, I dont think the cutoff now would go below 200- 210 for sure. #lostallhopes

Thought provoking :

Something is definitly wrong in today's paper thats why no one is speaking even after this much humiliation on both PG and Susheel ragade group.People are silent , probably they don't want to accept that many questions were repeated or our discussion gave them a huge advantage .What you feel ?

Ok guys first things first.. Even though I haven't given my best, I want to share few things because u deserve it... If chennai suffered due to rain, you guys also suffered in a way because of postponed exam... And inspite of that you guys understood in a mature way that chennai candidates were neither responsible for flood or for Rbi decision... Like I posted before, it was the right decision to postpone but could have been for all... Anyway past is past... A few points... 1. Be careful of people on social media.. Some like to create panic, confusion, sensation, hate... 2. Just for u guys I counted roll numbers and there were approx 200 numbers in notice board.. Assuming avadi centre is the only chennai centre.. All 134 selections won't be from chennai... That's ridiculous... But mind you, flood or no flood, chennaites are no pushovers and people here would have got selected just like Delhi or Mumbai... 3. Centre was in outskirt and people left centre at 6pm.. Before that many abuses towards chennai candidates and even the rational members get influenced seeing those posts.... I myself am posting from bus... 4. I as a single person can't recall all questions but at least 80% questions were new.. Remaining 20% I dunno because even we got schemes and management terms but I have no idea if options and context was same... no one will know that accurately... 5 marks 0% repetition as far as I can see.. No bond sum, no asset sum.. We had CAPM question... 5. Thanks for supporting chennai and wishing for our even even though it is human to get insecure about postponed exam... This post is for you guys... 6. I feel very sorry for all chennai candidates.. I am sure talented guys will get selected in the end, but they'll be tagged as chennai centre unfairly by some people... I hope it doesn't happen... P.s. I'm extremely tired and in bus.. I wrote this only to give you some peace of mind.. Start preparing happily if you will be top 500 among 2600 non chennai candidates 😃

Lets change the topic ...

Any good Movie (Action,Horror,Thriller) /Tv series (Hollywood).

Bhaichare ki misal pesh karne wale RBI Grade B forum k puys ko sammilit rup se Nobel Peace award se nawaza jayega.....iske liye unhone apne grade b selection ka bhi tyag kar diya

Bhagwan bhala kare in "officers" ka..

I have been silently following this thread.

Reached home now and saw all these posts here regarding 'chennai guys'. Rest assured friends , guys in chennai were very much disturbed due to floods. RBI exam was last thing on their mind but people outside Chennai might have benefited. If there is a normalisation , it is unfair for chennaites but would be very helpful for rest of T.N guys. Coming to questions , around 20-25 % questions were repeated.

As i knew that only precise and essay would be there , i did prepare very well for those topics as i came from Madurai where there was no flood related issue. There was a numerical regarding bond price and i guess digits were changed as i was getting 5677.91 as answer.

I will list 5 markers here from FM:

1. NBFC related question

2. Bond price same but with digits changed

3.CAPM numerical

4.MIS related question

and 2 more.

Ab jobhi hogaa

Dekhaa jaaega

Let's face it puys...

Trying to be optimistic!!!

P.S. If same questions or similar type questions were there, be ready to Agitate through whatever possible

Ab Chennai mein bhi exam over ho gaya.So results kab tak expected hai???Any idea

Here's my two cents:

As papers (ESI and FM on Dec 7 and Dec 14) were different (irrespective of some repetitions), normalisation will happen. There should be no doubt regarding this.

In English, normalisation may not happern, as different people wrote different essays, ecen on Dec 7.

We saw a huge impact of normalisation in phase 1, therefore people should not worry much.

As many people are posting here in Chennai center I don't think many questions were repeated except for "Climate disaster" essay and maybe a few more which I don't know. As I saw in a previous post there was no numerical on Bond price in FM and neither a numerical on CAPM. No question on NHB 's year but it was about its objective and also no question on CPI combined but expansion of CPI was there.  The 5 markers that I remember from FM are:

1. Question on alpha value in Operational risk

2. A data interpretation based on GDP values

3. CAPM formula - what is beta?

These are the questions I could recollect now.

And for those people commenting on why we are not active here now - the exam center is around 32 kms from the city center. Even worse was the are has poor connectivity in terms of both transportation and network. So just think of how long it would take for people to reach home and come here! Please think before commenting on others guys!

I dont think that todays exam would have any major impact on cutoffs considering the fact that only 200 students have appeared from chennnai center.

Do any of you have list of questions asked in ESI and FM on 7th ..If yes, please share

There was a question on 7th paper...Country responsible for maximum fdi in India. 2013 and 2014..what are the ans ..?

Does someone have the list of Economics (optional) questions?

So friends, now that Chennai's exam is over, when can we expect the results? Also, will RBI notifies about the shortlisted candidates or their marks as well?

I have compiled a list of questions asked on 7th Dec, ESI paper along with links to answer. There might be 2/3 max questions missing, and typing errors at some places.. Those who want to download or have a look.. Please feel free to have a look and do suggest any discrepancies in answer key found..or questions to be added

P.S. Those unable to download please text me separately, will send you..

Both written phases over. Results will be out in December last or Jan first week. Interviews should start in January itself. Start preparing.

RBI interviews by nature have been around 30% personal,  30% work-ex/education. and remaining current affairs/Phase-II syllabus etc.

If someone has interesting work-ex/education , even entire interview can move to that direction (which happens often). Only a couple of time i have heard that entire interview was personal.

(The above data is based on my interaction with more than hundred of selected candidates.)

The board will comprise 5-6 members out of which minimum two will be RBI senior officers. One will be specialist in area of economics/statistics. Since RBI guys themselves are there, no separate banking specialist will be there.

At least half of the board i.e. three guys have been common for all interviews in past years.
