Guys.. How does repo rate affect the prices and yield of a bond?
the salary of a p;erson is increased by 4800 and the rate of tax is decereased by 2% from 12 to 10%. the effect is such that he is now paying the same tax as before. if in both the cases the standard tax deduction is fixed at 20% of the total income. find the increased salary ???

1. What is the difference between bank rate and repo rate?
2. How does decrease in the repo rate affect the base rate? The aim is to steer the base rate for effective passage of the decrease in repo rate. So how does this happen?
