"THE PREAMBLE ENSHRINES THE SPRIT OF THE CONSTITUTION”
The “preamble” is a soul of any constitution. It reflects the principles of constitution and serves as a guidance through which a country or state is governed. It is considered as a foundation from which any country or state’s constitution is built upon.
A constitution of any country is a mammoth of its people’s origin, aspirations, ideas, principles, rules and regulations whereas preamble briefly depict all in a concise way. It clearly highlights the entire constitution. It is indeed serves as a way of life through which people of a particular country lives and excise their fundamental rights such as equality, liberty, justice etc.
Preamble of constitution of a country can be amended from time to time to add people’s changing aspiration, idea and faith in order to restore the credentials of people on constitution.
It is easy to define and explain preamble of constitution in case of a questionable situations or dilemma such as one’s origin and identity but it is vitally difficult to mug up mammoth constitution to prove one’s identity. Preamble also helps in taking moral and ethical decisions when it comes to take a decisions on national interest.
Hence it can be summarised that Preamble truly enshrines the sprite of the constitution which is base of any constitution of state or country.
