Which books should i refer for economics for RBI b grade officer ????
Can Someone post imp topics for interview ??
Anyone from Hyderabad attending interview on 30th Nov??
Can somebody please share gktoday current affairs pdf of June- November?
I am wiritng this for all the guys and girls preapring for RBI grade B. I have already given my RBI interview on 3rd nov . I am writing this for those aspirants who are always confused about which book to read. I have read only two books sanjeev verma and shankarganesh. Both the books are awesome and sufficient for paper 1 of phase 2. follow it up with editorials from any decent business or finance newspaper so that u can get a hang of the concepts which you have read. Try to make notes so that u dont have to refer to books every time you have any doubt regarding any concept. Give urself some time and dont read 50 pages per day , instead read 1 or 2 chapters per day and try to internalise it and then move ahead. I am a mech engg by profession and I was working in power plant before appearing for RBI grade B and I was also as confused at the start as u guys are right now. dont go for more the merrier, be objective in your requirements. We have to clear an exam not to publish a paper on economics. So, mind the syllabus and its requirements. Cheers
Just to follow up what @ankoo15 said in the post below, it is not even necessary to read a single book! I did not know about RBI exam before 7th August this year. After UPSC Prelims a friend of mine told me about it. Never knew any finance and management topic, yet it was possible for me to pass phase-2 and appear for interview. I bought notes of UrGKBuddy and mugged most of the static part of management . Finance part, I took help of internet to understand some very basic formulas of yield etc along with various concepts of bonds, forwards, futures, options (these topics again from bought notes) . As far as clearing only phase 2 is concerned , this is enough. Mind you, all this is a 10 day recipe. For me it was 8-18 September. The crucial thing is that for FM I made notes which took around 30 pages and revised them 3-4 times before exam.
PS: I don't know about final result, but topping the exam should take much more efforts than I put in.
I am preparing to appear for rbi grade B 2017 exam.. I have 83 % in graduation, 66% in 10th and 55% in 12th.. I belong to a Reserved category , will I be eligible to apply ?
I saw a post on Susheel ragade's page saying that from next year the percentage criteria will become 60% .. Will that be applicable for all Reserved categories? Will my 12th percentage(55.16%) be an issue ?
When is the last interview scheduled?
Anyone have Finance and Management Study Material? Even PDFs will works.. TIA😎
