Can any one suggest a good institute in North-West Delhi, to prepare for GMAT..
My main reason for writing in this discussion forum is not to market or to defame anyone.
I scored 780 last week in GMAT and I am trying to make an online social group of all students who are trying for ISB (PGP), IIM-A (PGPX) or INSEAD-MBA (September 2017 Intake-Class of July 2018).
I have sent my application for INSEAD-September 2017 Intake yesterday. I hope they will call me for interview. All students who are aiming for ISB-PGP, IIM-A (PGPX) and INSEAD-MBA, Let’s all make one online social group where we can discuss, strategize and help each other to reach our final aim.
Introducing myself, after graduations, I started my own HR Firm. After four years of working, I decided to go for GMAT. I did lot of research, went to IMS, Career Launcher, Pythagurus, Manya Princeton, Edushastra, etc. Finally went for EduShastra, there were many reasons:
- Everyone talked about their past results and there was no talk of how they will help me. But EduShastra (ES) talked about their course, course structure, their competencies, their results, etc. I was more interested in knowing how will I become a topper rather than past stories.
- Everyone was totally commercial--Their Talks was like typical marketing persons but I didn’t feel the same with ES.
- Everyone classes were packed but ES had small batches of 9-12 students. They made different batches based upon their IQ level.
- I was pretty surprised when EduShastra talked about their “Money-Back Promise”. They were so confident of their teaching that they give money refund options when a student doesn’t get the desired results.
I can keep on talking about many other things but its better you check their website www.EduShastra.com

Which would be the best institute for GMAT preparations in Noida/Ghaziabad/East Delhi for a working professional?
Got this guy from Quora to help me out on my applications. Cleared my Visa yesterday and now heading to Michigan State University. I joined Pagalguy to write a big thanks to Rachit Shah. All he asks to write a review for him in exhcange of application assistance. I think thats a decent payback.
hello guys, I am new in this group and don't know much about the courses, I am planning to give GMAT. Could someone please tell me which institute in Delhi is best for classroom training? Thanks in advance.

I joined EduShastra based on their website claims and it turned out to be a very bitter experience. I had to repeatedly chase for many things for eg., training/test site was not functional fully, internet connection issues, schedules for classes. After i complained twice, they abruptly stopped responding to my mail or calls and my money is gone(no refund). I had crossed halfway in quants n verbal but had to waste my whole time/schedule waiting for them which resulted me out of my GMAT track and exam schedule. I would expect any institute to atleast respond but Kushal Bharadwaj who is the head, has been very unprofessional. Please be careful if you are a remote student/not based in India.
GMAT (Graduate Management Admission test) is one of the trusted and preferred entrance test organized by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). The GMAT is the computerized Adaptive Test (CAT) taken by the aspirants every year for admission in foreign top business universities and institutions. GMAT is the worldwide level entrance exam conducted in approx 112 countries around the world and the scores of GMAT exam will be accepted by more than 2,100 universities and institutions. The students take this exam so that they can get the admission in foreign universities and this is one of the crucial advancement in their career. More than 6000 courses/programs are offered by these GMAC associated institutes. This exam has become popular among-st the candidates who wish to pursue management courses like MBA, Master of Finance and Master of Accountancy. The GMAT exam is a computer adaptive test and not a computer based test, which means that the candidate will get one question at a time and depending on the accuracy of the previous answer, the difficulty level of the next question will be ascertained. The average scores required for universities abroad varies; top tier universities require at least 710, while middle tier universities accept 600.
Are MBA Rankings Reliable?
- They can affect the type of students a business school can attract. Ambitious, high-calibre applicants will aim for the high-status programmes.
- The same goes for faculty members
- Business schools will in turn invest resources to ensure a good student and faculty experience so as to continue attracting the best and brightest
- Ranking and high-calibre students/staff can be a virtuous circle: You need good ranking to attract the best, but once you have the best you continue improving in the rankings
- The more famous alumni they can boast of, the more the reputation of the school will grow – and the more pressure the school will be under to keep its ranking high.
- Last by not least, large corporations and investment banks make no secret of the fact that they recruit and hire almost exclusively from a specific list of top-ranked business schools.
It’s also worth mentioning that in relation to US business schools, seem to be widely accepted as fairly reliable. Still, we need to question whether the pressure on b-schools to achieve or maintain a high ranking position always leads to the best decisions and outcomes for students. Summary Do MBA rankings matter? Sure they do. Are they always reliable? No. You have to read the results carefully. The ranking methodology can lead to a lack of consistency in the performance of business schools and MBA courses over time and across different tables. The data differences determining the schools’ ranking can be quite small. Therefore, your key takeaway is: Yes, do look at ranking tables but make them one factor in your decision as to which MBA course to choose – not the only factor.

Teaching Pedagogy: Evaluate & Design Model: The model objective is to provide personalized solution to each student. Basic methodology is to evaluate every student and design a customized “Course Module Plan” for each one of them.
Full-Length Computer-based & Computer-Adaptive Evaluation Tests are an integral part of the course. The first evaluation test is called Mapping Test. Mapping test helps us in presumptive Module Designing for the first phase. It also helps us in deciding the content level and course pace.
Evaluation tests is an integral part of the course. These tests help us in planning the course path and changing it as the student performance evolves. Course structure and modules can be different for every student even at the admission time. For example, two students joining at the same time, can have different modules and classes.
Tests also act as barriers. There are 12 levels in the course and a student cannot advance to next level till he/she scores minimum passing marks in the test. In this way, the model keeps on segregating students into different groups according to their abilities.
Courses Offered: GMAT, CAT & GMCAT (GMAT + CAT)Course Structure and Levels:
All Course is divided into four phases. Each phase is further divided into three levels (Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Levels). Thus, in totality, the course has 12 different levels.
1) Mapping Phase: In this phase, Instructor tries to analyse every student in the batch based on their performance in the Mapping Test. In this phase, every student is given a presumptive mapping score and batches are shuffled to create a group of same mapped individuals.
2) Foundation Phase: In this phase, all GMAT & CAT syllabus is covered. Every section is covered in such a way that all basics to advanced areas are taught.
3) Testing Phase: This phase involves Computer Adaptive Tests, Computer Based Tests and Paper Based Tests.
4) Control Phase: The last phase “Control Phase” involves working on each student’s “Weak Areas”.
Hybrid Customized Interactive teaching model: Blend of Online home classes, Classroom-coaching, Home group classes & 1-on-1 tutoring.
Individualized Learning v/s Herd Teaching: We specialize in a method of teaching in which content, instructional technology, and pace of learning are based upon the abilities and interest of each learner. We try to recognize the uniqueness of each student learner and thus provide adequate tutorial guidance.
Batch Size: GMAT course structure has four phases. In first three phases (Mapping, Testing & Control Phase), the teaching is individualized. And in foundation phase, the batch size is of 9-11 students.
Batch Selection Methodology: We follow scientific selection and batch-making process. Batches are made based on our internal "Parameter Mapping". Same mapped students are grouped into same batch. In this way, we create homogeneous group in terms of Intellect, Intelligence (IQ), Aptitude, Attitude and Commitment.Every Batch is provided unique and customized solution. The solutions are not only different in its content but also in course structure, syllabus, approach, class schedule and program pace.
Admission Standard Operating Procedure: Every new student is mapped into a "Zero Group" for a week. Zero group is also called "Introductory Phase Group". After a week, students are divided into five different groups based on everyone's performance in the class and our internal "Mapping System”.Internal Mapping System is a process to mark or rate students based on their Intellect, Intelligence (IQ), Aptitude, Attitude and Commitment. Mapping system also helps us in making "Homogeneous Batch". The same mapped students are grouped into same batch.
Elite Batches: We offer Two Elite batches in all courses. New Students cannot opt for these batches; the admission is through "Invitations" only.
Course Duration: “Evaluate & Design Model” has no fixed tenure but on an average, students can complete the GMAT course in 2-3 months and GMCAT in 6-7 months.
