So most likely vacancies of all RRBs (specially my RRB Gorakhpur, 50%+ reduction) have been reduced. After waiting for so long, it is very heartbreaking to loose chance. Unlike most of other aspirants, I would not blame our honorable PM Modiji or honest Rail Minister Suresh Prabhu for this massive cutdown and my almost confirm non-selection. I would also not blame reservation policy for my non-selection. Not to blame the RRBs which must have faced severe pressure from higher authorities to reduce vacancies. But there are few areas to blame:
1. My poor selection of RRB Gorakhpur as it had very less seats as compared to other RRBs. I didn't see the notification at all and just selected GKP as my home city comes under it. That ignorance has come back to haunt me.
2. My poor performance in Stage two. I scored a poor marks of 74.33 in 18th 1st shift. I should have done a lot better to be in race for any post. I should have worked harder to be in race for CA/TA so that cutdown in clerical posts would not have affected my candidature. I was just not good enough for this recruitment process.
A great lesson from this RRB recruitment experience that you have to be the best here then only you can survive. Being average will not lead anywhere!

There was no plan to fill 18252 vacant posts in RRB in 2015-16 They recruit 8-9k after every 3 to 4 years They will complete the whole process in Dec/Jan or may be more than that. Till that time vacancies will be more or less equal to 13-14k P.S. Views are personal

Bc jab vacancies reduce he krna tha toh pehle krte final stage me aake thodina karna tha and bc jitni vacancies he utne proportion me bulate mains k liye bc, vishwaas uth gaya bc modi se, mc he saala
