I have applied from RRB Ajmer UR category. My normalized score is 76.37.the cutoff for ASM NWR is 77.74 and ASM WCR is 74.76I have qualified for WCR region..My question is that if a person in NWR qualifies the psycho test but he doesnot make it to the merit list that will he be considered for the ASM WCR region or not..
i am getting mixed responses about it.
(1) Some are saying that they will be conidered if they have written ASM WCR as there second preference..
(2) while some are saying that they will be considered after the candidates whose first preference is ASM WCR...
If I go with the first statement than all the candidates of NWR region have more marks than me and hence if they do not make it to the final merit of ASM NWR than 99% chances are there that they will occupy the seat in the ASM WCR region. Hence person like me has almost no chance to make it to the final list.Than what is the purpose of issuing seperate cutoff for both the region of the same RRB.Its like pass bhi ho gya aur kuch hua bhi nahi.....
But if go with the statement number 2 than all the candidates with first preference as ASM WCR will be considered first in WCR region.(Since it is there FIRST PREFERENCE). And after that candidates from ASM NWR region with there second post preference as ASM WCR.
