I saw a poll on Pagalguy as which competition is easy. 1. UPSC 2. BANKING. I was shocked after checking the result. 47% people of this group voted UPSC as easy. How one can even compare banking with UPSC? Banking is nothing as compared to UPSC. Banking only needs practice with some basic knowledge and tricks and one can gain speed, knowledge, trick, etc if she/he practices regularly but UPSC is a completely different story. You have to learn loads of things, like 10-20 times more than you learn while preparing for GK section in the mains of any banking examination. And for cracking Mains, you need answer writing skill in English/Hindi. If you select English, you have to improve your grammar properly, not like banking, if you have to write something in English, you need to have a very good understanding of the grammar section. You need to have a good stock of vocabulary. There are many more things. I'm preparing for both and that's why I have cleared doubts of some people. Before you judge me, I have to mention that I'm a general candidate preparing for banking from June 2017 and I have cleared IBPS PO Prelims and Mains 2017-18, failed in the final selection, cleared IBPS CLERK 2017-18 prelims but failed in Mains, Cleared IDBI Executive 2018 and now preparing for SBI PO MAINS after clearing Prelims..
