Recent update for Bihar Candidates: 35-40 students were absent at the time of Document verification. Talked with one of my friend who hails from Bihar, I'm not waiting for the result. I'm from West Bengal posted in SBI as a Junior associate. In the second list, if you have less than 1 Marks, then you can expect your result(irrespective of category). There are also many who resigned after January, as some of them selected in rrb, niacl, etc. The ones who are selected today may also resign. Therefore, just get yourself prepared with all the documents. Thank you.

In Maharashtra only 15 gen vacant seat frm 1st waitlist. I'm 0.8 short frm 1st WL cutoff. Any chance?

I have gone through the posts of this group and many are saying that it is a marketing job. I'm working here and I can say that it completely depends on your branch. Branch allotment plays a huge role in deciding the nature of your work. If it is a big branch like metro/urban/semi-urban, you may have to go outside for marketing purpose, but it is not compulsory, it will be according to the need of the branch. In rural branch, chances are very minimal for marketing related works. I have also seen people are complaining that they have to call customers, that is completely a common thing in the banking industry. Even AM has to call reputed customers explaining about schemes, etc. , and a Probationary officer (PO) in his probation period used to do so on a regular basis. Many are thinking that they have cracked a government job and they just have to sit in a cabin and do some signatures and that's it. This is banking industry where competition is really very high, there is not much difference in the way a private bank or govt. bank works. Every organization is competing and to be at the top, their employees have to contribute a lot. Therefore, smile and work happily with satisfaction or prepare for civil services. Even there you may have to face many difficulties. Thank you
