friends,how was the diificulty level of sbi clerk 2018 when compared to 2016 especilly di not the type of questions but calculation level?please friends if any body who wrote the exam in 4th slot batches please answer my question.

A few people here are comparing sbi clerk prelims 2018 with ibps clerk prelims this year.I feel both of them cannot be compared.According to me the cut-off should be atleast 10-15 marks lower than ibps clerk prelims for comparatively same number of seats.According to me there are 3 reasons for this expected decrease:
1.Sbi clerk was of easy level but I think ibps clerk prelims was very easy.Some attempted more than 90 questions in ibps clerk pre.According to my observation there is 1 section in sbi clerk pre depending on shifts which is of moderate level but in ibps clerk pre all sections were easy.So in this way we can expect a decrease of -5 marks in cut-off compared to ibps clerk pre for this reason.
2.Due to introduction of sectional timings we attempt less questions.Without sectional timing we devote around 10-15 minutes for English but here we have 20 minutes for each section.So we can expect another -5 marks decrease in cut-off.Remember in ibps clerk pre sectional cut-off is very low and most of the people clear this sectional cut-off easily.
3.IBPS took around 5-7 times the vacancies for mains.In my state there was only one district as center for mains in ibps clerk but in sbi clerk about 5 districts have been allotted for sbi clerk mains as it will take around 10 times the vacancies for mains.So we can expect around -5 marks decrease in cut off here.
So in total I think we can expect a decrease of around 15 marks in cut-off compared to ibps clerk this year.If cut-off for your state in ibps clerk pre is 75 then in sbi clerk pre the cut off may decrease to around 60 provided the number of seats are around the same.
I have assumed things and expressed my opinion.It may be wrong.Anyone is free to disagree with me.
