SBI has started Sending mail to the candidates for the appointment for clerical post
Following are the mail details:
We are please to inform you that based on your performance in the written test held on 27.05.2012/03.06.2012 and subsequent personal interview, you have been selected for appointment in the Bank in the Clerical Cadre as ‘Assistant/Stenographer’ subject to completion of required formalities by you.
In this connection, we have to inform you that offer of appointment for the post has already been sent to you at your recorded address. Hopefully the same will be received within two-three days. If you do not get the same by 30.11.2012, you can contact on the undernoted numbers.

You have to present yourself alongwith all original certificates i.e.
a) Birth Certificate/School Leaving Certificate (for verification of date of birth)
b) Income Tax PAN care (mandatory)
c) Military Discharge Certificate (in case appointment of ex-servicemen)
d) Certificate(s) regarding educational qualification.
e) Character certificates either from two Gazetted Officers of Government or one such officer and an officer of the Bank in addition to a certificate from the Head Master/Principal of the School/College last attended.
f) Certificate for handicapped category issued by CMO/competent authority stating therein the nature and extent of handicap
g) SC/ST/OBC category certificate.
h) Three passport size photographs. Etc.
After verification of these certificates, you will be given the medical examination report (format). Medical will be done by the Bank’s Medical Officer who will be available at SBLC, Noida/Agra/Dehradun/Ajmer etc.as the case may be.
After medical examination, if you are found fit medically you will be given the letter of Appointment by our Asstt. General Manager (SBLC). 15 days training will be imparted to all the candidates. First batch of training will start from 03.12.2012 (accordingly to the capacity utilization of our training centre).

1. undergo all the medical tests, conducted under a specialist not below an MD
2. submit it to the medical officer of the bank
3. Get it checked by him and sealed in an envelope
4. All documents and report containing medical report during DV
are the steps right?

Got my mail for Bengal circle. 28th Nov DV date. Today there was DV for Bihar. I asked my friend and the DV process was very casual. The person in-charge was also casual. Not an environment of tension, rather they enjoyed the session. lunch packets were provided, tea at intervals. left the premise late at 6 pm cause the doctor came late and advised them to come for medical check up in 2 to 3 days. So guys, relax. No need for tention.
