I went to our nearest BoB branch and saw an intern from the latest batch of BoB PGDBF working there from 01st December 2016. I talked to him about the salary. He said that it indeed is INR 5.5 lacs as like the other IBPS PO recruits. The chief manager there was very eager to extend a loan and even arranged for forms for the same. I was convinced that I will get iNR 5.5 lacs( INR 45000 per month) and from there INR 6600+ will be deducted as loan. There will be other deductions also as PF and NPS and others. A very important result: You will not be given any housing benefits if you get posted in your district or nearest locality.
I am selected in the 19th batch of BoB PGDBF session of 2016-17.
I have also been selected as SBI JA but I did not disclose it to them.
The salary is enormously low and I am disheartened, although it is higher than SBI JA.
I said that as per specialist officer recuitment notice of BoB, the JMSG-I salary is INR 66000/-. Why so much difference with PO and they were clueless.
