i cleared all the doubts i had from help line no.
1. Photocopies have to be self-attested
2. Character certificate can be from the branch-head of a nationalised bank
3. Photographs to be pasted on bio-data should be similar to that uploaded at the time of application...its not mandatory to paste same photo.
So the photocopies need to be self attested? The only things that involves a gazetted officer are the Character Certificate and the Identity Certificate right?
do we need all PG marksheets or just degree?

I have SBI po interview on 14 th oct @ hyderabad, i m already working as Po in PSU Bank, When i contacted my regional office for issuing NOC, HR denied my request with out any proper reasoning.. .. is it ok if i give an undertaking instead of NOC in order to attend the interview..
please help me out

My interview lasted around ten minutes max. They asked about the company I work now and if I had seen any layoffs, which i didn't actually. And asked(in a surprised tone) if I worked for six years in the same company. Then asked why I am coming from IT where i have good pay. same old answer of no growth, etc. Then they asked me if i will go out of Chennai region becos they wont post me here definitely. I said i actually want to move out becos i have been here for long time. And asked why specifically i put Bangalore and kerala as options. I told as i dont know hindi, i can survive in these two regions better than others. They asked why cant u learn hindi if posted there. I told its possible but will take some time, for which the chairperson told u will learn to swim if u r pushed in water, son. Then came the strengths and weaknesses. and some question about the place i come from(Neyveli).

I Answered but not upto the mark but madam said ok and She asked do u know any scheme regarding Agriculture schemes(Ive forgotten actually now) & I said sry MAM i dont know
8. What do u know about food inflation? i said little but she hinted me & gave up & said sry Mam am not able to recollect,She said ok and forwarded to another member
9.Do u have any account,Which type of Acc. u r having?How will u deposit money? Whether in standing in Queues or any other way?
I Answered: I have Savings Acc with SBI, I'll transfer funds through GCC(Green Channel Counter) & by Internet Banking and Through SBI FREEDOM & THROUGH Debit Card
10. What is the difference between SBI FREEDOM & SBI FREEDOM PLUS? I'VE Answered little and The other member Completed it.

all in my batch were in formal attire no tie, no suite just formal pant and shirt
CARRY ALL ORIGINALS (important)
there will be provisions to take xerox in case of emergency (only emergency)
self attestation enough for xerox
working guys be careful with NOC procedures ( i dont know in detail) they will check it
take extra photocopies of that stuck in biodata form with you (for emergency)
they provide free lunch for 11.00 AM batch candidates ; )
GD:
will be seated in proffesional way in like a conference room
topic will be announced by the panel very clearly (so no panic)
time about 2 min will be given to jot down your thoughts
(free pen and notepad ; ) )
asked to speak...will be provided mic. but in our batch the panel member told without mic. itself we can speak (so be ready)
professional way 1 by 1 ..each for 2 mins.( they will ring short bell at comlpetion of 2mins then also if you continue long bell)
then a free flow discussion for 15 mins ( fish market)
GD done .
INTERVIEW
15 mins gap will be there (you are provided with tea and biscuits ; ) )
in my panel 5 members
4 men aged well above 50 years in blazers and a female at same age
i went in said straightly "GOOD MORNING" at 4.45 pm all smiled i said sorry and good eve asked me sit down
my panel was extremely casual and friendly
a member asks question and when you start to answer he acts like he is not listening ..keeps his hand on his face...but observing me ( very old trick) ...you should be confident..
lot of questions will be asked for the first few candidates from what we spoke in GD so take the note pad you have jotted the points on and see that in that small interval before you are waiting for your turn ( no panic easy questions...but DONT contradict from what you spoke in GD)
i said " sorry sir i dont know the anwer" for the question i dont know

Guys, I have one query.Do we need to take 4 sets of photocopies and attach them with each copy of the biodata form?Or do we have to take only one set of photocopy and attach it to the original copy of bio data form?
