Alka never sits on a chair having an odd number on it. Neither Ritu nor Akash sits on chair number four. There is only one person between Rohan and Ritu. @lakshmilalitha

Five persons -Ashoka, Bachan, Chandra, Mallya and Tendulkar - driving five different cars among Accord, Audi, BMW, Honda City and Skoda, not necessarily in the same order, are standing in a queue at a check post. The five cars are of the different colours among Black, Red, Silver, Violet and White, in no particular order. It is also known that: (i) Accord is ahead of Honda City and is not Red in colour. (ii) Bachan is not driving Audi and his car is behind Mallya's car. (iii) Skoda, which is Violet in colour, is not being driven by Tendulkar. (iv) Ashoka's car is behind the White car and is not Silver in colour. (v) Chandra is not driving Accord and his car is immediately ahead of the Black car. (vi) The Red car, which is ahead of three other cars, is being driven by Bachan. (vii) The only car between BMW and Honda City is White in colour. (viii) Mallya is not driving the Silver car. Honda City is not Black in colour.

Which car is Tendulkar driving? I cud find this in Pagulguy itself..But need clear explaination ..Can anyone assist. Thanks

0 answers 1) Audi

0 answers 2) Skoda

0 answers 3) BMW

1 answer 4) Honda city

1 answer 5) Accord

Ä‚—

Solution from my side:-

1.from ii and vi we get to know that Bachan(red car) is in 2nd position while Mallya is in front.

Mallya(..),Bachan(red) ,..... , ........, ........

2.from i , vii , viii ,iv , v we get the position of white car as 3rd one.black is behind it but chandra is immediately ahead so,we get that black car is the last one and belongs to Ashoka. So,tendulkar is driving White car.And Mallya is not driving silver and thus left with violet colored Skoda car.

Mallya(Skoda,Violet),Bachan(red) ,Tendulkar(white) , Chandra (Silver), Ashok(black).

3.now from i and vii we get that Accord is ahead of Honda CIty and Honda CIty is not the red one as Skoda is ahead of the red one. Thus Red one would be BMW and Silver one is Honda CIty and White one is Accord. All done...ooppss!! Whose car is the awesome Audi? So simple ,we are left with only one ,Ashoka. :P

Mallya(Skoda,Violet),Bachan(BMW,red) ,Tendulkar(Accord,white) , Chandra (Honda City,Silver), Ashok(Audi,black).

Hence,we can say that Tendulkar is obviously driving Accord and not Ferrari..lol :mg:

Hope it helps..
