The attached question is leading me to a confusion related to Set theory. How come B AND F be disjoint of B AND F AND L. In fact, B AND F is a superset of B AND F AND L. It shud have been clearly mentioned in the question that only passengers going to B AND F is given. Similarly for F AND L.

I have a doubt in syllogism.The question is as follows:
1)No woman is a scholar.
2)Only scholars are geniuses.
Now, before going into solving this problem, if we just look at it from a common sense point of view,
Since only scholars are geniuses, and no woman is a scholar, we have the conclusion that "No woman is a genius".
Now, if I try to solve it by analytical method of syllogism, I have, after some modifications, these two propositions:
1)No woman is a scholar.(Type-E Statement)
2)Only scholars are geniuses =>All geniuses are scholars => Some scholars are geniuses(Type-I Statement).
Now, these two statements are properly aligned.We have E + I=O reversed.
So, the conclusion is "some geniuses are not women".
My point is that how do we get the conclusion mentioned in bold,i.e, "No woman is a genius", from analytical method.
