probability that at least one ball out of drawn balls is Green.

24% discount, a seller incurs a loss of 5%. The marked price of the
product is 7500 Rs. At what percent discount the seller should sell the
product so as to have a profit of 15%.
My method is simple when 76% of
amount was taken cp was 95%. When x% discount is given CP will be 115%. =>76*115/95=92%
=> 100-92=8% ( everything else remained constant)
A person takes 640
minutes to go from point A to point B upstream and downstream. The
distance between points A and B is 64 km. The ratio of the speed of boat
to that of the stream is 4:1. What is the speed of person going
downstream?

At simple interest, a
principal amounts to Rs 36000 in 12 years at 12% rate of interest. Find
the time in years to have the same Simple Interest on the same principal
when the rate is 9.6%
Same technique applied as in Q 2 suppose Principal was P then SI would be
144P/100 for 12 years. Now SI has to remain same => 144P*100/9.6*P*100 =15
years ( no need to solve for P or SI)
A's age is 14 years more
than the age of E. B's age is 10 years more than the age of E. The ratio
of A's age to that of B's age is 8:7. What is the age of E 6 years ago?
Difference of A&B age is 4 years& ratio is
8:7. ( for any given year this difference remains same in case of age ) =>
32 A and 28 B => E= 28-10-6=12 years
120 liter of mixture of
milk and water contains 30% water. A seller sells 40 liter of the mixture
and in return, adds 12 liter of pure milk and 8 liter of pure water to the
mixture. The new ratio of milk to water in the mixture is?
Or=70:30 => 70*120/100 & 30*120/100 => 84
& 36. Now in 40 ltr there will be 28 ltr of milk and 12 ltr of water. Hence
in original solution 56 milk and 24 water . As per given condition now 68:32 =17:8
The
diagonal of a square is 8√10m. The area of a rectangle is equal to the
area of this square. Find the perimeter of the rectangle if one side of
the rectangle is greater than the other side by 4m.
8√2√5=> area 8*8*√5√5=320 now the area of
rectangle is same as this. Also one side is greater than other by 4 which means
only two such no is possible in this condition 20 & 16 (factorization of
320 is simpler then quadratic 😉 . just
put it in 2(20+16)=72 mtrs

A certain sum is invested for a certain time. It amounts to Rs 35 when it is invested at 10% per annum . But when it is invested at 8% per annum it amounts Rs 30 . Fine the time ..?
IBPS should conduct all exams in single day. Or have different pattern every session. People like me who have exam 1st day 1st show get a raw deal. Todas and next weekend aspirants are prepared mentally and know which strategy to adopt. Is completely unfair.. What do you think?
Slot 9-10. just Abh. Bahar nikla hun candigarh centre se. Quants- 2 di. Both easy. Approximation 5 ques- very time consuming. Baaki pattern same hi hai ka waale slot ka.. Attempts- Qa-21 VA-25( para jumble tick kr laga hi tha ki time over ho gya 😞 ) LR- 26. ( circular was very time consuming, wasted alot time there and in linear arrangement lift wala question 😞 )
