Slot 4 did the magic ! .. QA and Reasoning were on difficult side... Attempted 60...

@navi276

though he predicts it to be 35.. my take 37-38..

Frnds let us try to make cut off problem more clear.......the IBPS PO sectional cut off for year 2015-16 was - eng -8, quant 7, reasoning, 10, computer knowledge - 11, general awareness 10 and final cut off 82/200 (for general cat). Most of the aspirants are same in IBPS and SBI PO exam and if not the standard of aspirants remains more or less same. IBPS shortlisted appx 49000 candidates for interview which was 9000 more than that of the candidates to be cleared by SBI in PRE. But at the same time Everybody will appreciate the fact that SBI Pre is more tough than the IBPS. Further, as rightly mentioned above by one of our friends that there is no GK and Computer section in SBI PRE which makes the exam more tough as everybody knows that these two sections can be attempted in 20-25 minutes with average 40 attempts resulting in more time for quant and reasoning thus increasing the attempts whereas in SBI PRE the time available to solve Quant and Reasoning is much less hence less number of attempts. Moreover there are many aspirants like me who wasted 10-15 minutes on reading  English passage and able to attempt only 10 to 12 questions. In conclusion, keeping in view the one hour duration, absence of GA section, 40000 to 45000 slots, toughness of paper compared to IBPS, am sure that sectional cutoff will be even less than that of IBPS and cut off will be around 35. Though This is a speculation only but is a calculated one and I advise all aspirants who are hopeful to clear the above cut off to start preparing for Tier II. Anyhow in my opinion efforts never get wasted. Best of luck to all......
