Ok, so since I receive a lot of queries regarding the salary structure of POs in SBI, let me clear out the confusion.
First of all, dont be misguided by that 8 Lac figure that they mention in the ad (that included a house lease amount of rs. 30,000 p.m. which you don't get in hand, it goes directly to your landlord's account). The actual salary structure after the recent revision is as below:
Earnings-
Basic pay 27620
Dearness allowance 10029
Special allowance 2140
HRA 2486
Deductions- PF 2762
Pension fund 3693
Net pay: 35,820
Other than this salary, we have to claim separately every month for benefits like petrol, cleaning, newspaper etc all of which add up to around 6500 in urban centres.
regarding the house lease: You can rent a house wherever you are, and the bank pays the rent directly to the landlord's account, so that doesn't add to your income in any way.
