SBI PO 2015 Preparation & Discussion

I had a chat with a faculty of Mahendra's.She has suggested not to prepare DI from a book, but from BSC monthly magazines.

1 venn diagram, 1 income expenditure , 1 profit and loss, these are sureshot questions which'll be easy to solve.

there will be atleast two tough DI dets in which it is advised to solve only 2-3 questions and leave the rest.

Overall we can score these 20-25 marks easily depending on the difficulty level.Rest 10 odd question will be moderate and solvable.35 will be an excellent score in 40 minutes.

For Descriptive part, Never choose informal letters as you have to type more content and hence it will be time taking.Formal business letters are the best option as they require minimum content.

Essays will be based on recent scenarios so be thorough with the news and 10 days before examination I'll be getting a list of probable essay topics from the centre and I'll share those.Meanwhile there are more than 100 probable topics uploaded on mrunal.org , you can practice them.

English 20 quant 14 reasoning 19...will I be able to clear the cutoff?

A, B, C, D, E, F, G, and H are sitting around a square table in such a way that four of them sit at four corners of the square while four sit in the middle of each of the four sides. The ones who sit at the four corners face the centre of the table while those who sit in the middle of the sides face outside Each of them likes a different subject, viz Mathematics, Hindi, English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, History and Geography, (None of the information given is necessarily in the same order.) solution please

Hi guys

I gave my exam.. Attempted 58 Qs reasoning 25 eng 15 maths 18.. What are my chances? I am lil bit tense

A small question related to mains,

Is there only DI, Charts, Graph for quant? I'm taking SBI PO exam first time, and I can see most of website shows these only. Wont there any questions of Profit-loss, time-work, Alligation-mixture, SI-CI etc?

I hope you're getting my point.

My attempts- Eng-22,Quant-22,Reasoning-20,overall-64;accuracy-~90%,hope I get through Pre.

Quantitative me 17 hi attempt kar paya. Is Sectional there in prelims? If yes, then can i make it through the cut off (accuracy: 80%)?

Made a mess today. Total Mess.

Attempts : 71.

English : 23. Quantitative : 28. Reasoning : 20.

Started off with Reasoning. First question was Floor Arrangement. Wasted 4 mins on it. Second one was Circular Arrangement. Wasted 3-4 mins again. Third was Linear Arrangement. Wasted 3 mins again. After 12 mins or so number of question solved = 0.

Switched to English. Para jumbled : Got it wrong. Attempted the remaining. Don't know about accuracy. 50-60%(Even this is Doubtful). I was damn sacred. Had a panic attack.

Switched to Quant, started solving. Felt good after sometime. Did 28 of which 26-27 are correct.

Again switched to reasoning. Attempted all except the first 3 i.e. 15 questions. Of which I can be sure of 17-18.

Overall if I clear the sectional cutoff of English I am in. But I am highly doubtful of it. Not even sure if got a single question correct.

It was a disaster. Damn disappointed. 😞

Done SBI po prelims with presence of mind
