Not able to understand last step of the solution
two friends X and Y walk from A to B at a distance of 39 km,at 3km an hour and 3 1/2 km an hour respectively.Y reaches B ,returns immediately and meet X at c .find the distance from A to c.
ans: X and y have walked together a distance = 2xAB=2*39=78
ratio of the speed of x and y>> 3: 6/7
distance travelled by x = AC = 6/6+7 *78 =36 km

When I come across people on FB groups and BA discussion i feel happy and motivated after reading comments of morons like 'Phase 1 or prelims will will be difficult then mains as in prelims around 30lakh applicants will be competing for 40,000 where as in mains 40,000 will compete for 6000 n then 6000 will compete for 2000'Guys PRELIMS OR PHASE ONE is just to eliminate those who have not prepared anything for the exam,10% applicants will not even appear for the prelims,80-90% of the candidates appearing for the exam will not be even aware about the entire pattern of the exam. No one is sure about the level of exam. Even if we compare the mock tests of oliveboard,cracku,mahindra,careerpower,BSC all are directing in different directions..prelims will not decide anything if you are seriously preparing for SBI PO then aim at Mains directly..it will help you in prelims also the only extra subject on which you ll have to focus on will be quant so dont waste your precious time on thinking that what will be the cut off for prelims or whatever as it will be just a waste of time.. PRELIMS EXAM WILL BE A SURPRISE FOR EVERY ONE.
