GUYS PLEASE GIVE FEEDBACK ON MY ESSAY WRITING....

Online Banking Advantages and Disadvantages

Online banking is nothing but a combination of internet and banking where money transactions are carried out within few seconds. Internet is a revolution of 21st century, it has completely changed the world. It has an influence on almost everything in the world who is using technology. Banking is no different, it has changed completely. Now customers prefer to carry banks on their computer screen and mobile phones. Millions of people do their money transactions daily using online banking. In India online banking started in 2006 and from then millions of customers are using it.

There are thousands of advantages of online banking. The biggest advantage is it saves time. Earlier customers have to take appointments in banks, carry hard cash and have to fill deposit or withdrawal form and then transaction is completed. Now a days you are a click away from transferring money to desired places. So things have changed and technology has speeded the process. Online banking is also more efficient than offline banking because machines makes less mistakes than man. It also reduces cash transactions as use of plastic money has increased. People use ATM for cash withdrawals and POS terminals while shopping. It is also cheap if you compare with amount of time spent on offline process. It has turned out as a blessing for mankind.

But, technology comes with risks. The biggest concern is security. When money is flowing through air the risk is also flowing with it. The more you shorten the process the more is the fear of phishing and hacking. Due to this, big banks all over the world spend billion dollars for security purpose. Another concern is lack of awareness among users. People freely share and saves their credit and debit card details on internet just to save time which also add risk.

So, long and short of it is technology should be used with care and security, especially in the case of online banking because here money is directly involved.
