Women Empowerment
We have a popular saying in our society "Behind every successful Man there is a Woman". But in today's world scenario is different. Now the saying should go like "With every successful Man there is a Woman". It's not just the words which are changing but also the world around us. But the question is "if this change is enough?"
Problem with the feminine population is not just specified to a region or country but to the whole human species. Neither country like US , UK or Europeans nor China, Brazil or any other developed countries can boast about the equality given to Women in their region. Every nation has a specified issue related to women either be it of physical, sexual or mental assault. Within these nations in every section of society women go through tough situations. Poor are dragged into becoming sex worker or have to deal with house assault, dowry, unhygienic condition and lack of basic life survival education. While the middle and upper class women have to go through physical assault at home or workplace, mental harassment and a never ending fight with acceptance of their identity in society.
One of the most common problems faced by every section and every nation is sexual assault. Never goes a day when the newspapers don't have news of rape of any age group women. Few ill minded people feel it as their privilege to physically and mentally torture women and without any guilt post their act on social media sites.
But like every dark night this night also has a beautiful day and dawn has come. We have now better and improved medical & educational facilities. Almost every place special women protection cells and helpline numbers for safety of outgoing or in house women. Apart from Government various NGOs are working for women upliftment.
Equality now is not just the word but slowly and steadily is being part of society. Women like Hillary Clinton, Chancellor Angela Markel, Pepsi CEO Indira Nooi, ICICI head Chanda Kochar, Sania Mirza, P.V. Sindhu, Malala Yusafazi and many more like them are faces of new Women power.
We in India have also started various government and private funded programs like , Sukanaya Samridhi Yojna, Beti Padhao Beti Badhao and many more to uplift women in educationally, financially and socially.
But these efforts are just a small drop of water in desert. More is needed to be done by us.
Only thing which can make a huge difference is the cultural and social change. Education system should incorporate in every boy and girls mind the theory of equality for every human being. Patriarchy should be demolished and women hood should be celebrated.
According to an old Sanskrit verse " Gods resides where the women are worshiped".

Questions based on 'Analogy' are important for English Language/Verbal section in Bank PO Examination.
Simply defined, analogy refers to a comparison made between two things based on similarity or matching features. The aim is to establish a relation so as to explain something in a better way.
A question based on analogy has a pair of words (or even numbers/letters/figures) that are alike in some way. This pair is followed by a third word for which the candidate has to find the fourth suitable term. For this, you have to understand the relationship between the original pair and choose an option that best expresses this relationship.
Knowing the different types of relationships will enable you to identify the connection between the original pair.
1. Meaning: One of the two words of the original pair depicts the meaning of the other word.
For example: Clairvoyant: Future i.e. clairvoyant is someone who is supposed to be able to predict the future.
2. Synonyms: Two words with the same meaning are made analogous.
For example: Prescient: Prophetic i.e. the words prescient and prophetic are adjectives that mean showing knowledge of events before they take place. Psychic, sibylline, oracular, second-sighted, etc. are some other synonyms that can be used to depict this meaning.
3. Antonyms: Two words with opposite meanings are made analogous.
For example: Beautiful: Ugly, Easy: Difficult
4. Type of: One word of the original pair is a type/category/ classification of the other.
For example: Strawberry: Fruit i.e. strawberry is a type of fruit.
5. Intensity: One word is less intense or severe as compared to the other.
For example: Cackle: Giggle While cackle is loud and harsh laughter, giggle is to laugh lightly
6. 'Part' of the 'whole': The first word of the pair is part of the second word or vice-versa.
For example: Chapter: Book, Toe: Foot, Petal: Flower
7. Cause and effect: In this, one thing leads to another or represents the cause.
For example: Treatment: Cure, Pollution: Asthma, Envy: Hatred
8. Lack of: One word of the pair indicates a 'lack of' the other word.
For example: Unemployed: Job, Wealth: Underprivileged
9. Use: One word in the pair is used to explain the utility or function of the other.
For Example: Lungs: Breathing, Electrician: Repair
10. Gender/young ones: One word is for the male and the other represents female. This can apply to animals and birds. Words can also depict animals' young/offspring.
For example: Boar: Sow, Cow: Calf
While boar is a male swine, sow is female. Similarly, in the second example, calf is cow's young one.
Other relationship types include effort and result, objects that go together (salt and pepper), tools and their function/action, object and place, etc.
Important points to remember
1. Identify parts of speech: If the original pair represents adjective: noun or verb: noun or noun: noun, then your answer pair should also have the same relationship.
For example: Sphere: Round:: Prism: Conical (noun: adjective)
2. Place the third given word with all the alternatives before zeroing in on an answer. For example: Leader: Follower :: ? : Soldier
a) Unit
b) Captain
c) Army
d) Cavalry
As a follower is guided by his leader, soldier is guided by his captain. Army and cavalry, though are in some way related to soldier, do not bring out the original pair's relationship.
3. Order of the words in the answer pair should be the same as that of the original pair.
4. Sometime not one but two words may seem suitable to complete the analogous series. However, you should choose the word that closely or exactly expresses the relationship.
For example: Leash: Pet :: Handcuffs: ? a) Dacoit
b) Robber
c) Criminal
d) Accused
Handcuffs are aptly used for a criminal i.e. who is proven to have committed the crime.
5. You can also use the technique of eliminating unrelated and unclear options to get the right answer.

NET NEUTRALITYUnless you were on Hibernation or sleeping under a rock cage
on Himalayas, you must have come across a term called "Net Neutrality" which
was gained much popularity in the recent past. To explain further upon this
issue, I would like to give you an example, consider a Mercedez Benz being
charged more than a Safari on a toll plaza, and then an electricity provider
charging more from Café Coffee Day than a shoe maker's shop for per unit
electricity consumption and further think about a telecom company charging more
for per minute call from a stock market company in comparison to a normal
gossip between you and your friend. It all sounds unrealistic, unfair and more
than that it sounds injustice. This is what Net Neutrality is, injustice
towards charging of data traffic for different OTT (over the top) websites.
In a recent move from TRAI, Telecom regulatory Authority of India, they had
passed a referendum asking public opinions over Net Neutrality. Under this
scheme major giants like Whatsapp, Skype and Viber will have faster access and
more data charged in comparison to others. Some of them will have free access
by the users and the amount of data transferred during that use will be billed
to that particular website by the telcos. The telcos have their say that these
VoIP (Voice over Internet protocol) services are depleting their voice calling
and messaging profit. Even facebook had started a campaign similar to this
named internet.org giving free of cost access to some of the websites. Question
arises, how far will it effect you as a user? Being a netizen you must be aware
about the data packs that come like 1gb for 249rs approximately, now it's in
your hands and according to your use how you use this data and not in the hands
of your ISP, even you as a user are going to suffer along with the small
companies in the competition with the giant one's. Equality in data traffic is
just not required by the companies but even you as a user.
The move if awarded positive response will prove to be giving unfair advantage
to the websites given faster traffic access, and we as a user can create a big
difference in informing the government and more importantly TRAI that it should
not pass such a resolution. Every drop in an ocean is important.
I got 110 in test number 10 of career power.
