So much over-analysis and unnecessary pessimism around the no. of the attempts.
You guys are among the 40k smartest young graduates in the country, so never thought I'll have to explain it out loud, but going by the posts I am seeing here, here goes: People on pagalguy who are posting here DO NOT in any way constitute a representative sample of the 40k population who gave the test today. So assuming a certain no. of attempts as safe based on thee posts here is, quite frankly, foolish. And plus there are SO MANY others factors at play other than attempts, most important of them being ACCURACY.
So please stop fretting, go out and have a nice dinner today, and start preparing for interview/any other exam from tomorrow.
A question-Will they call out every single person who clears the written cut off,for GD ?

My Review.
People say sometimes it's just not your day. Same goes for me.
Untill 100 minutes, I had almost cracked this bit**h( Not sure though, I may get past the barrier even now). I was happy.
20 mins remaining, 126 attempts and approximately all were sure shot answers. I did not mark any question which I was not sure of.
I had 3 options, 2 puzzles in LR , or go for critical reasoning or try parajumbles.
I am not good at CR or parajumbles but moderate when it comes to puzzles so I chose going after puzzles. I tried solving both of them and failed to solve the first one. Confidence was gone, I panicked and couldn't figure out the second one as well.
My attemps after 120 minutes were the same - 126.

DI -24
LR - 22.
I don't know whether it was tougher than PO 14. I have no clue whether I'll make it or not.
The only thing I know is, we(all puys even those who performed well) can't stop. If you are not satisfied, take a nap or watch a movie but get your as* back on track as soon as possible. We aren't done yet.
This was not my day, nevermind. SSC, IBPS is still there. Lets not get demoralized and waste days, weeks worried about what is going to happen.
Prepare for GD/PI now. If anyone needs a sound preparation, it's us.

do not lose hope just because u are not able to attempt no of ques in exam.always remember its not the quantity but the quality that matters most.so attempting high ques is not the approach to make it to the finals but its accuracy related with these questions that will change the whole game.so be patient and optimistic. donot lose hope u never know what tomorrow may bring.hope in not dead ,itis just larger than our imagination:its purpose extending far beyond our comprehension.just start preparing for gd/pi or other exam and keep urself updated from latest happening because whether u fail or pass in this exam the knowledge that u will gain will reamain intact within u.an investment in knowledge always pays the best interest.it will not cost much but will enrich ur soul and mind.atb for result.

Hello Puys, is normalization process applied on descriptive section also? In nicl ao, I attempted 25/40 as I couldn't save the essay which was of 15 marks. But to my surprise, i was awarded 26/40!!
I did the same mistake today also, didn't save the essay. When I asked that will that essay be considered for evaluation from one of the SBI employees(senior employee), he said that yes it will be considered. But somehow he didn't sound convincing enough to me, did he say that just to "console" me?

There is no point discussing cut offs and attempts.I just have one query from people who appeared for sbipo last year.how much marks do we get on an average in the descriptive section.?if we have a decent or say average "Angrezi" :/

Eight persons from different banks viz. Indian Bank, Bank of Maharashtra, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Dena Bank, PNB, Canara Bank, Syndicate Bank and UCO Bank are sitting in two parallel rows containing four people each, in such a way that there is an equal distance between adjacent persons. In row -1 L, M, N and O are sitting and all of them are facing South. In row-2 P, Q, R and S are sitting and all of them are facing North. Therefore, in the given seating arrangement each member sitting in row faces another member of the other row. All information given above does not necessarily represent the order of seating as in the final arrangement. Person from UCO bank faces the person from Oriental Bank of Commerce. R is not from Oriental Bank of Commerce. P is not from PNB. One who is from Syndicate bank is at the extreme end. P does not face the person from Bank of Maharashtra. M does not sit at any of the extreme ends of the line. The person from Bank of Maharashtra does not face the person from Syndicate Bank and PNB Bank. N sits second to the right of the person from Bank of Maharashtra. O and L are an immediate neighbours of the person from Bank of Maharashtra, who is the immediate right to the person who is from Oriental bank of Commerce. N is from Canara bank who does not face PNB and UCO Bank. P is third to the left of R. L is facing to the person who is from PNB .R is not from IB and Syndicate Bank.
