Guys,please enlighten me about online stock trading.It's not about exam but I would like to know about it and practice it in near future. What's the risk,the minimum amount I should invest,which investment is safe and better for a starter e.g.mutual fund,etc? Recently people started engaging themselves in this investment in my small town. It's new here I would say. Is it better in terms of saving compared to savings account? Please let me know the details. By the way,I am not a bank aspirant and I don't have knowledge about it.

60.35 out of 100 ( If the objective test cut off is 95)

I feel this year cut off is 90 as 95 is highly unlikely...being 96 attempted guy has also cleared sbi mains.

GD Topic- economic problems facing indian economy !!
damn people were so aggressive the board gave us instructions clearly that you'll be given 2 minutes to speak and then 1 more minute to speak in 2nd round, no one can interrupt and anyone can start !!
we were given 3 minutes,i was sitting just next to the board panel, the pen they provided wasnt working when i wanted to note down the topic, 2 of the board members gave me their pencil 😂 luckily i had an extra pen !!
so finally GD started, babe-koof log the yaar, the girl who started spoke continuous for 2.5 minutes or even more, panel had to stop her in between, again the same thing, 2nd girl did the same,she had to be stopped,3rd guy also did the same, i spoke 6th or 7th, all the points CAD,Fiscal Deficit,NPA was already raised, social points were also used which are directly or indirectly related to the economy like unemployment !!
I spoke for around 1 minute 50 seconds i guess, i ended before 2 minutes cause i was noticing the panel member, one of them was not even looking up and just noticing the time in his stop watch, babe-koof even raised the point that "RESERVATION should be banned in GD" I was like yaar kaha se aye ho tumlog :P
there was a girl who knew all the data of unemployment, deficit etc(good thing) but she didnt utilised all her time, she raised one point and went on explaining, wasted her time in it, she was again made to stop !!
second round me there was a guy who had already spoken for 1 minute still he was trying to contradict me but was stopped by panel members !! one of them raised UPA and Modi government point(political) ,again i was like kyun barbaad kr rhe ho GD yaar !!
i had raised some points like HDI which covers many things,judicial system slow, unemployment, so digital india strictly needs educated people, that is a problem, even after so many plans we are considered poor, i even raised a point of University ranking in which india is nowhere, this is very much indirectly related to economic problem !!
second round i spoke positive, that india has sufficient forex, we even are strong to surpass the federal reserve rate hike as said by rajan, and even that india has a ray of hope even after depreciation of its currency we are competing at world level !!

i explained - indian universities are not focusing on innovations and entrepreneurial institutes, students are future of economy and they are dependent on universities and so and so she said demographic dividend, i explained, she said what is dividend in it? (ab ye kya toofaani question tha, aise to socha hi nai tha) i tried to explain that more working age group so better contribution to economy she said aisa to har country me hota hai,usme alag kya hai i said india has max population in youth and etc, not completely satisfied !!
then next person- maharatna companies, i said BHEL, he said couple more, i said ONGC, HAL(this is not maharatna), coal india limited he said how many i said 9(pta nai kya dimaag me aya), he said with these examples can you co relate the core sector of economy i said cement cement, crude, coal,he said steel i said yes steel too !!
you said about forex ,so what are they?i said foreign exahange, he said in what? i said dollar mostly, he said how does it come? i said FII and FDI,he said and? i said currency swap aggrements between 2 Central Banks of a country like it was with sri lanka recently !!
he said how much does india has ?
i said sir am not sure but its around 300 billion dollars(actually it is 358)
then next person- so what are tangible and intangible assets?
i explained and he asked for examples i gave him !!
he said land depreciates? (now in commerce terms it doesnt) i said yes, but didnt gave example that in us crisis it happened, he said are you sure? with smiling face, i said yes sir !! (fu** this thing went blunder, i was so confident it was like he's asking my name :sad: )
last person asked what are the neighbouring countries of india?
i said nepal pakistan,sri lanka bhutan, bangaladesh !!
okay thank you !! wished mam and sir and came out !!
it was revolving around commerce(which is not at all a strong section for me) and my GD points !!
before me, no one was asked anything related to GD topic, everyone was asked about South china sea, and us elections and blah blah !!
i dont know why it was so different for me, i couldnt answer some of them but didnt said anything wrong(knowingly bewakoof banane ka try nai kiya, ek to completely galat bol diya) !!
anyways no predictions, preparing for IBPS now, and hoping for a good result !!
whats the ratio for final selection ? 80:20 or75:25?

Place Trivandrum,Panel 1
Reached well in time by 8 am.Document verificatio happened in very friendly atmosphere.People well very hepfull and by 9 30 it was finished and we were asked to sit in the GD Hall.
GD Topic- Welfare scheme and subsidies result in in-efficiency.
Two panelist sat on one side and other on the other side of the table.
The moment sir said to start, People started together. Then it was like jo pehle jorse bolega uska and who is able to cut others and talk loudly will contiue.
I was succesfully able to cut others at the 6th time. People were talking off the topic like failure of administrative machinery etc. But i spoke about people expecting freebies and not working , become lethargic in attitude etc.
three members overshot there time and we were stopped by the panelists.
Finaly GD was over by 10:10
I was 5th on the number for the interview.Was bit tensed but the staff there were too friendly asked me to be calm and be honest and its okay even if we fumble on ou answers but asked me to be fluent.
Then my call came.
Knock Knock :
Me: May i come in sir.
Every one Come inside please . I wished them good mornning and they wished me back and asked me to sit.
M1 he was the chairman.: so you workng in IT why you want to come to SBI group. Arent you satified with your work there? Arent they taking care of you ?What roles and domain you have been working?
Me: I gave a very positive feedback of my present company and gave the reasons but i am not sure about what he thought. :P
F1:So how much your company pays you now?
Me: Answered.
F1 looking at M1: So how much SBI pays them?
Me: Jumped and said 8.33 la PA
F1: Oh So anyway it will be an increase for you.
Me: With a smile Yes mam.
M1: Asking me did you read about indias exports getting reduced are you aware of it ?
Me: Sorry Sir m, I had a look of only the front page.
M1: Thats fine , so our exports are reducing How will you tackle it?
Me:Answered some thing he was like OK hmmmm !!!
M1: Ok in GD you guys did not deeply go into the real topic but leave it for now.

Interview was not as happy gola as i expected but fingers crossed.

Cn NY 1 help suggest..me Is OnGC A-2(Junior Asst) better than SBI PO or the later ??
If looking at pay scale..ONGC pays a junior asst higher than even SBI PO...but the designation sounds inferior to probationary officer..
Any views on that ??
