A , B,C,D have a total of rs. 80. If a's share increases by rs. 3, b's share increases by 1/3 of his share, c's share decreases by 20% and d's share decreases by rs. 4, then all of them would have equal amounts of money. Then d's original share is :

a. 24

b. 24.75

c. 23.75

d. 20

e. 23.50

3 identical vessels contain the mixture of spirit & water. The ratio of these in each vessel are 3:4 4:5 & 5:6 respectively. The mixture of all the 3 vessels is poured into the big pot. Then what is the ratio of spirit & water in the new mixture? {Plzzz explain the solution also}

Hi guys. i cannot find a book or a resource which has lots of questions on simplification like the ones which come in the exam. Could you guys please tell me which book / paperset /resource has lots of simplification questions with shortcut method explinations ? Something which i can pick everyday and do 10-20 questions for practice and move on to other topics.
