I've been laughing over these claims since Saturday noon! Every year there are bunch of people who start claiming high cutoff, apparently because of "easy paper"!
To be true, the paper wasn't EASY, it was moderate, it was of the same level as last year. No difference. I've seen the paper, hence, I can say that.
Don't get bogged down by these claims. People will claim, and score 70 marks and 80 marks, but you don't have to top in Prelims. If it something new for you, then let me break it for you. The candidate who scored 47.75 was asked to take the same Mains paper as the candidate who scored 65 in Prelims. So, kuch advantage nahi hai 80 score karke. Also, let this not disract you from the fact that, the person who scored 47.75 last year is an SBI PO, and the one who scored 65 is creating another fake account, as I type this.
So, stop worrying, and start preparing for Mains, if you think you can score 50 in Pre. You have just 30-31 days more, which I feel is enough. So, don't squander your chance.
As of the level of the paper is concerned, Maths was easy. Easy to score 20. English was moderate. Moderate enough to score 20. Reasoning was tough. Tough enough to keep you down to 10-12.
By the way, ye 75-80 waale har saal aate hain. Aur aaenge, kyunki ye har saal 80 laate hain Pre mein, and I don't know what happens to them after Mains.
P.S. The one who scored 47.75 is not a fictional character.
