Demonetisation was announced on 8th of November.IBPS PO Mains was on 20th November.And i distinctly remember that there was one Question in English with 5 sentences/options.One had to chose the odd sentence.All 5 sentences were about the after-effects of Demonetisation.Starting from how people had to stand in lines outside ATMs to how the situation is ameliorating.Its immediate impact on the economy.My point being IBPS sets its questions not too long before the Exam so at the very least,news upto 25th of May is important.
