The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan launched by the Prime Minister has created a lot of buzz. For the very first time, people became acutely conscious about cleanliness of their surroundings. People in large numbers participated in various cleanliness campaigns initiated from time to time by the government and other bodies. Various supportive schemes have also been launched by the government to push the cleanliness agenda further. These include the initiatives to make villages, cities and towns open defecation free (ODF), Swachchhta Survekshan (Cleanliness Survey), etc.
The impact of these initiatives is clearly visible. Though it was a known general phenomena that one should keep his/her surroundings clean, no significant effort had been made till now to make the public conscious about this moral duty. Now a days, it is common and pleasant sight to see people carrying waste papers or bottles in their hands, until they find a dustbin to throw it in.
However, many more steps need to be taken in the direction of achieving cleanliness of surroundings and the environment. Till now, the focus had been on the visible littering on the land or water bodies. However, the dirt and pollution spread in the form of smoking in public places and unnecessary burning of fuels have not been made part of it. These things contribute substantially to air pollution. The government needs to widen the scope of cleanliness and incorporate such elements in its campaign, besides promoting the implementation of existing aspects.

Subject:- To draw attention towards poor file handling in the branch
I am an employee of Xyz Bank, working in the Abc branch as a probationary officer. I have recently been transferred to the branch and wish to draw your attention towards the poor manner in which the files are handled the branch.
Most of the files are not kept in the designated shelves and thus, it consumes a lot of time to find one when it is needed. I have tried to advice my fellow staff to follow the stipulated guidelines, but no one paid heed to it. Besides, some important files related to vehicle loans have gone missing and the responsible person is unable to provide a suitable explanation for it. These issues have led to an escalation in complaints by customers and tarnish the image of our branch and the bank.
I believe that as a responsible employee, it is my duty to inform you to about it. I hope you will take appropriate action in this regard.
